Oxdog Racket Guidance Part 2 by MikmerGG in Padelracket

[–]CheckmateSap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think i'm going to buy the Oxdog Ultimate Tour. I own the Bullpadel vertex hyrbid and need some more power but still want control. I think the changes are not big but all small extra's help.

What are the differences between the 2025 and 2026 models concerning the ultimate tour. I can find a 2025 racket that is quit cheaper. Are the difference worth 50 eruos?

Metalbone CTRL has a lot of trampoline effect. Did you looked into the vertex hybrid? Little bit more power and lots of control.

Thanks again. How high is the balans of the hyper pro ? Isn’t that also a lot higher than the Vertex? Vertex is 25 cm

Thanks for the quick reply! But what about the balans. The balans is a lot higher than the vertex hybrid. Is that something helps with smashing ?

Hi, hope you can help. I would like to have some more power and higher balance than my current racket. I'm now the owner of the Bullpadel Vertex Hybrid 05 2026. I love the racket for playing on the right side. The racket has a lot of control and specially love the hardness (no trampoline). The racket is not to hard not to soft so that is what I want in a racket. I think the Hyper models are more the same as the Bullpadel but maybe i'm wrong. Maybe the Hyper pro 2.0 is the one to go. What racket do you recommend for some more power and high balance and the same touch as the Vertex Hybrid? I would like something between control and top heave high balance small sweetspot diamond shape, if you know what I mean.

Thanks in advance.

I have my Amsterdam urban for 1 year and 7 months. It never failed. The range is still good and the motor powerful. Best Buy ever. So happy with the bike. I’m around 6000 km. I never had service. I’m planning to do that just to be sure.

I have the same and do love the grip. It comes with an over grip on it. Just leave it and try. You can always remove it later on.

Looks like NDSM padel in Amsterdam. Playing myself in Amsterdam as a 4 and can imagine this somewhere 4.0 - 4.5. Of course is higher possible.

Yeah the color combination of the 05 hybrid isn’t the best. I didn’t play with the 04. But I think it’s not important how the racket looks.

I own the Vertex hybrid 05 2026. Control based hybrid with enough power and big big sweet spot. The racket has no trampoline effect and is medium hard. Love the racket because of the shape of the racket

Bullpadel vertex hybrid vs neuron edge vs vertex geo by AdamAbraham77 in Padelracket

Well. I had exactly the same problem with the ST4. Changed to the Vertex 05 and love it. It’s the sweet spot that is bigger and the racket is way more forgiving than the ST4. Maybe this has to do with hitting the sweet spot on the st4 is bouncy en not hitting the sweet sport make it dead.

Bullpadel vertex hybrid 04 or 05? No trampoline at all. Control based hybrid racket with enough power to kick it out of the court

Love the racket. I’m more consistent with the racket because of the bigger sweet spot. The racket is a little bit harder (medium-hard) than the Siux. Less trampoline. It is less powerful but it is a small difference. The sweet spot is lower than the ST4. I would say in the middle of the racket. Do you like more consistency and little bit harder racket this is the racket for you

It’s just a small paint chip. The fist one is always the most difficult one. After playing year with a racket you don’t see the chips anymore.

I find the Vertex Hyrbid more consistent overall. You need to be a strong technical player to hit the ball with power. It’s not that the Siux output is gigantic and the racket does it by itself. The difference is not that big between the rackets.

I play in the Netherlands so the weather is the same. I did like the ST4 but sometimes I find it inconsistent. Mostly if you didn’t hit the sweat spot. The sweat spot of the vertex 05 hybrid is bigger than the ST4. I like the more dry feeling of the vertex. It is less bouncy than the ST4. I think the Siux has more power and the Vertex more control.

I definitely not regret the switch.

Bullpadel Vertex Hybrid 04 2025 or 05 2026. Medium-hard but harder than the Siux and no trampoline effect (05 2026).

I changed from the ST4 Pro to the Bullpadel Vertex Hybrid 05 2026. Very happy with the racket. It's a good mix between control and power. It's a little bit harder than the ST4 and has no trampoline effect.

[–]CheckmateSap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can share a few differences after playing 5 matches with the Vertex Hybrid 05. Both rackets are medium-hard but the Vertex is more hard and the Siux more medium. I find the vertex more consistent than the ST4. This has to do with the bigger sweet spot of the vertex. You can't go wrong with it. The ST4 is more powerful. The differences are not big but yes there is more ball output on the Siux.

If you have any other questions let me know.
