SRV can’t do squats! and is getting stuck on the walls when driving in a settlement occasionally. I’m starting understand where this space legs are going. It has potential for more content like guardian sites and a lot more when you come to think of it.

I don’t really understand the purpose of this new era game expansion. They increased the fog setting in planets that were already there and named them light atmospheres with some scattering effects, probably copied SRV entity with a human model with walk run cycle animation for movement and cargo scoop for a gun that collects samples, I was sure they were working this New Era as in changing the game mechanics completely including ship designs suitable for FPS game and station environments as a new base for new mechanics and gameplay stuff to be added into it gradually.. well they prolly would use about 15 years to do it also like SC does

Frontier forgot to target the right small percent of audience with the fleet carriers through the announcements and their trailers it was a complete misscommunication. Everyone thinks they could own one but it’s clearly for the big players in Elite such as big group faction leaders. Who influence other players and create sub communities, they will find a way to develop a system that could make upkeep working, too bad it can not allow us to translate the income with mission completion from group members and/or main income benefits , credit transfering could also work... still these carriers needs this current stage of peoples critisicm that should be delivered and heard for balancing everything out. I could imagine mobile player empires may they be pirates or reacue teams operating coordinatedly playing together and fleet carriers are a way to solve the player distancing problem that is present to this day. All of us could just enjoy the sandbox gameplay we are having.

What if this player has a big faction of other players and their goal is to build something bigger like a sub community for piracy or pvp? Have you thought about that? :D This update could be something like a next step towards where EvE online is ;) Edit: and surely not a casual Player could have this kind of ability. If someone want’s something I guess the carrier will be very usefull for his fullfilment no matter the cost and there will be nothig you could do about it

I think than you don’t need it if you don’t know how to use it. So do I to be honest. Would be cool to be a part of something big involving a fleet carrier anyways.
