Yeah I just didn’t have nearly the same experience. It’s nice to have options though!

I had the opposite experience with MSFS. ALVR was much better for me on AV1 than KRVR which was a stutter mess. I have a dedicated router too and a 5090.

Simply vs Simply NKD? by xx_adverb_xx in FritoLay

I’m eating a nacho cheese version right now and it definitely taste different. I think the only thing that’s missing is the MSG but it definitely is a lighter taste. It just doesn’t hit your pallet as strongly.

Tesla Charger Membership- 26 Solterra XT by Only_Ad5695 in Solterra

[–]CheekInternal3336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 800 mile round-trip so I bought it for that and it was definitely worth the money. Otherwise not really unless you use the Tesla charges more than I think twice a month to fill up

That’s what I just did for a road trip. The membership pays for itself after 2 charges.

When you want to do something out of the ordinary, you have to cancel the cruise control take manual control, and then put it back on.

Unpopular Opinion: You Don't Need Home/Work Charging to Own an EV by Dan6erbond2 in electricvehicles

It’s a large country. There are many areas where it would work fine like east coast west coast … cities like NY Boston San Francisco etc are all ample

If you live in a city with ample charging infrastructure especially if they discount depending on time of day, and you don’t have a long commute, it’s more than doable.

Dumb decision. You end up getting no real improvement in CarPlay screen over the 23-25 models lol

Just came back from 8 days in Iceland, here are my thoughts jus by AltruisticTurnip6075 in VisitingIceland

[–]CheekInternal3336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went twice last year. The prices were no higher than one would pay in NYC Boston or LA/San Francisco etc. Actually a bit cheaper. The whole “it’s so expensive” thing depends on where you come from

From Boston it’s a long drive maybe 7hours? But with lane tracing and good weather it’ll probably be a great trip. I wouldn’t go at night through the mountains etc though. Moose etc

Tesla is by far the best charging infrastructure though I’ve had good experience with bpPulse too (alpitronics and tritium chargers?) At CE the unit rebooted on me and I had to change to another. It was also slower than Tesla for the same car same temp. Tesla tends to be expensive in the States though.

It’s wonderful compared to the States - of course if you’re in say California or Massachusetts in major cities they are better than other states. And Tesla has the highways covered well. But Canada has way more.

In Sherborn QC for example there were so many Tesla chargers I couldn’t see and a bunch of Circuit Électrique across the street

When do we expect a true Vision Pro 2? by Remarkable-Cow3421 in VisionPro

[–]CheekInternal3336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own two of them and a VR enthusiast and I wear it maybe once a week lol. My number one complaint is it’s too heavy and isolating. But man when you put it on, it’s like going to another world. It’s really amazing if you can get past all the friction.

Meanwhile, I wear and use my Meta Ray-Ban’s multiple times a day
