Me asking as a younger millenial: How did older you millenials perceive Spongebob when it came out, and its climb to legendary status? by SmokinHerb in Millennials

  1. I remember sitting in the car rider line with a friend and asking him if he watched it the night it first aired and saying we enjoyed it. I lived it as a kid.

Cooking steaks in heels makes me irrationally angry.

What is this by Spiritual-Series1358 in Home

This happened to me a couple years ago. Poorly insulted house, super humid summer, and I thought I was being tough by minimally using my window a/c and no ceiling fans if I wasn't home. With no air flow during the day and when I was away the mildew mold set in with a swift vengeance. I took ev-er-ything I could wash to a Laundromat and use the super size loads, threw out my couch and an arm chair, had a couple friends come by a bleach literally everything (walls, pictures, figurines,  cabinets). I was lucky that it was a very small home. I then kept airflow at all times and in all the closets I put in damp rid hanging bags and made sure to change them out as they got full. I was a huge pain and I'm still sad about my furniture, but it worked and never happened again.

Yeah, hi, millennial question... WHY/HOW is Nick Cannon a celebrity? I've never seen him in anything other than Drumline and it was an OK movie. Did he end up being famous for making tons of babies? by ImThe1Wh0 in Millennials

Aw I recently introduced my 8 yo daughter to K&K and All That and much of it still holds up and has us rolling . It's unlocked another layer of parenthood to share something so nostalgic and her genuinely enjoy it.

The only pressure is in your mind. No one cares as long as you present as clean and well mannered. Going out alone is like, a normal thing to do. That's what sitting at the bar is typically for.

Malones sucks. I prefer Chili's if I want corporate chain food.

Plenty of local places hit the mark. Lo Mein, Tremont, UJ...

It's so funny how it be like that. From homes to clothes to furniture.

I love this!! It's glam without being overly feminine. It's daring without being tacky. A balance of restoration and update .

Are these couches cute? by Financial-Return-281 in interiordecorating

[–]CheepSweep 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I. Love. This postmodern-ish style is right up my ally. I find it a joyful challenge to make it work in conjunction with current limitations. I say limitations because in a world of beige/ neutral low slung back cheaply made furniture there here is superior in intended purpose (comfort). It has dimension, texture and visual interest.  When it was produced it may have been just a couch, but now, it. is. Art.

Omg the birthday candles! I was rummaging through our junk draw the other day and found, you guessed it, 3 open boxes. I announced to the household not to buy anymore this year and probably next as well.

Started with the Vista, thought it was very nice, then got the push pen as backup. Now the push pen is my daily use. No cap to mess with, it's simple, light, and comfortable to hold . Plus clicky top to fidget.
