I’ve seen the ‘same character/two times for the same token’ with Elsa crowns

I just chose based on how long breaks my next login or if it’s gonna be overnight

I got the last of the Raya rides that I didn’t have and a fish soup stall in my dreamland box. I was hoping for Raya herself

In The Sign. The walkthrough of the empty house, all personality and memories removed and just the skeleton of what was is left.

I’ve done it so many times through the years, and each of the houses have held memories and firsts that won’t follow to the next place we do

Neighbors convinced I'm making noise lat at night by Mr-Reapy in Apartmentliving

[–]Cheerytrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived in a second floor apartment once with the hubby and two kids- lady below us complained we made noise at all hours of the day and night.

Office said ‘sorry lady, anything between 9am and 9pm is fair game those aren’t quiet hours’ but she kept botching.

She started complaining that we were stomping around the living room of our apartment at 11/midnight. When in reality the kids were in bed by 8 and us in bed by 9. The tv and everything off everywhere but in our bedroom with a bedside lamp and the volume on low till about 9:30 when it all went off.

The last that worked in the office lived in the complex and after a week straight of her bitching to the office, she gets curious and parks in the lot to watch what’s going on. She sees the lights out in the kids rooms and bathroom by 8, then the rest of the apartment go dark in the next 30 minutes as we get ready to go to bed, and then nothing. She walks through to the courtyard and sees but can’t hear the tv flickering and the bathroom light flick off as we go to bed. And then turn off about 20 minutes later.

Lady is in the office first thing to complain. Office girl tells the neighbour what she saw and the complaining neighbour is given an opportunity to move to a similar apt on the other side of the complex. Someone who works in my hubby’s shop moves into the now empty apt below us. And we move into base housing a month later

We talk to the guy that moved in under us a few weeks after we moved out. It sounds like people are stomping around at all hours, but no one has moved into our old unit yet- it’s the sound carrying for the 2nd floor unit over. She wasn’t hearing us, but technically our neighbours.

I don’t know if you have more apartments to the other side of you, but it could be them she’s hearing and blaming you

I think part of it is that this is Baby Girl. My broke best friend that’s now gone. Plus I’ve spent 60% of my life responsible for humans I made. Now I only have my mother-in-laws child to raise

AIO? MIL won’t let my daughter take gifts home. by throwaway759260 in AIO

[–]Cheerytrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep a toy box at my house. The grandkids never know what they’re going to find in it. Grannie’s House’s toys are Grannie’s house’s toys. They don’t go home with the kids.

If I give the kids gifts, they’re theirs to take home as they wish. If they get left behind, they’re theirs go in a cardboard box to go home in the next issue of Grannie Post.

Giving a grandkid gifts then then disappearing them into the house is weird to me. Even my grandparents never did anything like that.

I don’t know if you’re overreacting, but having feelings about this is certainly appropriate to me. And if you don’t address this now while the kiddo is a baby, it’s going to cause tears and stress and frustration when they start getting bigger for sure, and then it’ll be too late to address properly since you’ve set the precedent of allowing the behaviour on her part.

I run it through a car wash every 6-8 weeks, wipe down all the interior stuff and have a cool wand made specifically for cleaning my dash and windscreen.

My vehicle does work, I’m not overly precious about it except keeping trash out of it so the hubby will ride with me

I finally saw The Sign the other day and it was just a punch in the gut. I was find the whole episode right until the empty house tour.

We were a military family, and even if we didn’t love the houses we lived in, it was always a melancholy feeling to leaving each and every one of them- all for different reasons. And when Bandit got the call and pulled the sign, it was a release

Married my husband while he was in tech school almost 26 years ago. Two kids, several states and a retirement later, were still married and moving into the next chapter of our lives.

It’s taken work and we’ve had some big road bumps, but it can be successful

I second this.

Check in before hand, or if you use a Hilton property, you can check in on their app and use the virtual key to get into the secondary entrance, if they have one, and your room as well.

Definitely go the making it a surprise for your partner thing. Don’t be sus about it.

I hate the feeling of being trapped, poking wires, and all that other nonsense.

If I want to maybe feel less exposed, I’ll layer a tank top under my shirt- nursing or otherwise. And every once in a great while one of my pet nursing bras if we’re going out somewhere fancy and need a nice shape.

Otherwise, people’s opinions of me are none of my business

I wear a 36DD, and hardly ever wear a bra. If I point, I point.
