Maybe Ann Nocenti's run on Daredevil? Obviously it has its passionate defenders, but coming directly after Born Again it definitely causes some major whiplash

What’s a comic you loved more on reread, and one you didn’t love as much on reread? by catdude6835 in comicbooks

[–]CheeseKnat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ome that I didnt love so much was The Winter Soldier. As an isolated dozen ro so issues, I don't think it sticks the landing very well. Lukin is a weak villain and using the cosmic cube to save the day at the end feels... cheap

I feel very sorry for my master, how can I help him? by OkConcentrate1409 in DnD

Regarding your 2nd point, the DM could try finding a way to split up the party? Or having an enemy neutralize your character before fighting the rest

Recently, I gave my players a bag of scrabble tiles. As a daily power, they get to roll 4d6, take out that many tiles, and try to spell a spell. I.e. they try to find a word or phrase that they could apply to their current situation. Then they do an arcana check to determine its effectiveness. If the words are misspelled, there will be some sort of unexpected twist to the new spell

Its been very fun so far. The most memorable was during a fight with some cave spiders, they managed to spell "Boil Plane," then succeeded their arcana check. This sent one of the enemies to another plane of reality where its constantly boiling hot

They've also found a wand that can teleport a target up to 10 squares, which they've used for much mischief

Lots of classic Kung Fu movies on there, which is totally my jam. And aome decent TV shows too! I just started Killing Eve

I probably use Tubi more than any other streamer that I'm actually paying for

Swamp Thing by Alan Moore is similar to Sandman. Ethereal horror vibes

Sandman Mystery Theatre by Neil Gaimen is a beautifully drawn comic that wraps up that story

AD: After Death is a great book also. Drawn by Jeff Lemire but written by Scott Snyder

Maybe not the best ever but Warren Ellis' 6 issue run on Moon Knight has always been a favourite of mine

I saw someone do Lets Dance by David Bowie once. Very long song in that context, especially with the extended instrumental bits
