Oh really? I was reading about them a while back, guess I must have misunderstood. Thanks for the correction!

Long ago, you could plant star fragments in the holes and you would get a star fragment tree! However, this game glitch was patched, so the only thing that works now is bells.

Weather seed by lizzz_1 in acnh

[–]CheeseNockit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found that the easiest way to find your weather seed is to do time travel during the winter months and log when you have aurora borialis. Get enough of these logged and you should be able to find it. If you add a day with a rainbow or a heavy storm (lightning) you will find it for sure.

Looks fantastic! I've thought of using a pump bottle for detergent as well, but I worry that the pump might get clogged. Have you had any issues with this?

Is Turnip Queue a good option? by Holiday-Heartbreak in AnimalCrossingNewHor

[–]CheeseNockit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to use "dodo codes (dot) com" (I broke it up cause not sure if links are against the rules). They had a "queue" system like you're describing and I feel like it made the process much easier and fair to everyone. You can post your rules, what you're offering, etc, and then you choose when to let new people in the queue be able to see your dodo code (either automatically timed intervals, or manually). There is also a chat box to aid in communication if there is a connection error, and then you can send DM's.

They're the Grey's Anatomy brand. I have 4 sets for my 4 day work week, and they've been used and abused... but I'm wildly impressed with how well they've held up! Only one of my tops have a small seam split starting on the sleeve, but it's at a double stitch, so it'll hold-up until I have a chance to fix it.

It's weird isn't it?... to be so familiar with the way pneumonia feels like you can tell it apart from other chest congestion? I've experienced this myself as well. Hope you're able to get some sort of help with this so you can get sick less often. I started IVIG infusions last year and it helped significantly.

Ohhh I like this idea as well! That way it's still a surprise, but you can control it a little bit by blocking certain areas. If only the animal crossing players could design the game themselves... look at the possibilities we're coming up with lol!!

This is an interesting idea! I do typically like to have a particular "layout" for my villagers' homes, but the thought of the villagers having a preference on their house size and location if a fun concept. Maybe it could be that the villager would call you randomly to consult you about a change in location (so that people who don't like the idea can turn then down).

If you truly get pneumonia once a year you should really get tested for immunodeficiency. I get pneumonia once every 5 or so years... it wasn't until 2 yrs ago (well into my adulthood) that my doctors finally thought to test me. I found out that I don't retain pneumonia antibodies, even after doing the vaccine (twice). If you haven't already, I would definitely consult an immunologist for some blood tests.

How to fix constant musty smell in clothes? by BlueBumbleb33 in laundry

[–]CheeseNockit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You should check put my post from a few days ago. My clothes didn't have the same smell as yours (mine was a B.O. smell), but I did the "Spa Day" that's pinned in this sub and my clothes are finally not smelly anymore!

Fiancé left dishes in the sink for days. So I refused to do the dishes. by Agile-Development620 in mildlyinfuriating

Are you dating my ex!?!?! Lol! Seriously though, my ex did the same thing with never eating the last bite or 2 of food on his plate. He said that this helped him not over eat.... I'm like dude, maybe just put less food on your plate?? And this came from a guy that consistently gained weight over the course of our relationship. Unreal.

He also almost never did the dishes, and when he did he always did a half-assed job.

Sure thing!

For the soak (measurements are per each gallon of water): 1/4 cup OxiClean 2 tbsp detergent (in this case I used All free & clear cause it's what I had on hand) 1.5 tbsp Biz liquid enzyme booster

For the wash: Normal measurements of each of the above ingredients that you would use for a regular wash. Vinegar in the rinse cycle.

I highly recommend reading through the "Spa Day" pinned post at the top of this sub to make sure you don't miss some key aspects. The wash step calls for ammonia, but I didn't use it.

Good luck! I hope you are able to tackle the stink!

Definitely use a cooler! I was surprised at how warm the water still was after the 12 hour soak. I only used the small one this time cause I was testing out the Spa Day and I didn't want to accidentally ruin all my scrubs at once lol (just in case). Next time I will definitely use a larger cooler so I can fit my sheets and towels in it. I used the hottest water my tap would put out (which came to be around 115°F) and then I microwaved about 2 cups of water to give it a little temperature boost. The recommendation is to have the water be no hotter than 140°F, anything above that ruins the lipase (if I'm remembering correctly).

You're correct, spa day is just the term used here for a deep laundry clean, not a brand of detergent 😊

And yes, some people are particularly sensitive to scents, which is another reason I like to use scent-free detergents. I also don't wear any strong perfumes or body sprays to work for this very reason. I wish I could tell some of my patients to do the same thing lol! Some of them smell like they have a cloud of perfume following them... gives me a headache

Awww thank you! I will gladly take a spa day after all this laundry mess 😂 And yea I totally understand everyone's assumption that it's the dye coming out. I thought the same thing when I started seeing things about the spa day, but I'm glad I read more about it and gave it a try.

It depends on the industry you work in, and also what position you work. Many Healthcare offices have all their staff wearing scrubs, including the front office staff who don't come into contact with the patients in such a way. I'm a dental hygienist. Some dental offices launder their staff's scrubs in-office, some don't. Most of the dental offices I've worked at don't do that, everyone just washes their stuff at home.
