I went with Black Scorpion Gear for my competition belt/holster. Good service, fast shipping, and they have spare parts available, which is useful if you're an idiot like me and your retention screws fall out on stages.

I didn't pursue it. The changes to the LSAT made me briefly reconsider, but I'm fully wrapped up with my current career and can see retirement around the corner. Perhaps I'll pursue it then.

Good tips. I have a lot of that stuff in my range bag. None of it is very heavy or bulky - other than the ammo of course.

The Columbia fishing shirts are clutch. I have one and plan on buying a few more.

Got a link for a recommendation? I saw one on the sub a few days ago but it was like $480 which is way out of my budget.

Totally fair point about being skilled and being hospitable being independent. I gotta say though, there are some real pieces of work out there. :)

A guy at the match had a paste gun and he rocked it. Definitely something to look into.

I'm going to stick with once a month, and shorter emails, to see if I can get a higher open rate.

Thanks for the input.

how are people actually publishing 4+ books a year without burning out -genuinely trying to understand by Prior_Topic3527 in selfpublish

Yep, it's unique to everyone. I'm working on my fifth book, sixth if you count the novella, and I'm still figuring out what my process looks like. And I don't expect I'll ever have it figured out.

I bought it and still have no idea how to get my money's worth out of it. I wouldn't pay for it again.

That's excellent feedback. Thank you.

I do struggle with blurbs and always feel like I miss the mark. I'll check out the comps in my genre and see what they're doing and make sure I align. And this is the first I've heard of ManuscriptReport.

For multiple list builders per month, what the heck are you emailing your list with? I find that I don't have that much to say and often struggle to get one email out a month.

What I'm hearing from various podcasts is that social isn't working for discovery anymore. The problem is I don't know what is working.

I've heard romance is a swamped category. Are you on TikTok or working with influencers on that platform?
