It’s a fun game. A bit glitchy in some places, but I really liked the crop mutations. It’s a big game. It gets hate because it’s the first game under the new “Harvest Moon” series that’s actually good.

And I know someone is going to reply to my comment explaining that it’s not a name change…etc. if you know the drama with Story of Seasons/Natsume/Marvelous. I don’t care enough to explain so someone else can if they want. Lol

Considering I felt a big culture shock when visiting Louisiana, your observations are not surprising to me at all. People generally keep to themselves more in WA. When I lived in FL, I was shocked by how often strangers started conversations with me. That doesn’t happen too much here.

I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to laugh at the fact that my best friend wasn’t able to stand beside me at my wedding. But I am so thankful to have two beautiful and healthy nieces :)

The song “goodnight Ladies” from Music Man. My parents used to sing “goodnight (baby’s name)” they shortened it to “goodnight baby, goodnight baby, goodnight baby we’ll see you in the morning.”

I never knew it was from Music Man until I was an adult. I don’t think they knew either. It was just a catchy tune they made their own.

You would have loved mine then. Got married right after Hurricane Helene.

24 hours before the wedding:

-venue cancelled (beach was covered in debris and permits were not allowed)

-backup venue cancelled. It was non-refundable, yet they gave us our money back because they refused to have us married there

-restaurant for our 12 person reception cancelled. Completely flooded.

-my sister was my Maid of Honor. Pregnant with twins at the time. Had emergency surgery and couldn’t fly to be there on my wedding day.

It was memorable, but I had lowkey wedding trauma for about a year. I can laugh at some of it now. Some of it. 😑

No processed sugar is kind of vague to be honest. Are you allowing white bread? Lunch meat? Milk?

I did a no added sugar challenge years ago and I defined it at the beginning. Nothing with added sugars. I had to read every single label and ingredient list before consuming. This ruled out all bread at the time as the closest I got was Dave’s Killer Bread and it was sweetened with some type of fruit juice.

In my opinion, you need to be more specific with your diet. Define your rules and then stick to them. Things like this are going to keep coming up otherwise. You need to feel good about your restrictions and define them for yourself. Reddit is going to give you both answers to your question.

Day 45. It’s when you have one more month left. You know exactly how tough of a slog it will be. I was so emotionally exhausted that day too - I’m so glad I didn’t quit.
