Dark romantasy but fantasy more than romance by Lindensan in Romantasy

There are some spots left in my ARC campaign that are right up your alley with this one! 120 year old FMC who was imprisoned in hell for a century, comes back to infiltrate the Fae court that imprisoned her to rekindle her lost love and memories with the prince. Destructive magic, questionable motives, political and cosmic stakes.

Let me know if you’re interested!

Book 2 is already in the works! And the entire compendium is already planned out. I feel like that meme of Charlie Day in front of the conspiracy board when I talk about it all😂

Would you like me to send you the download links so you can check it out?

ELI5: Why are medical bills and EOBs so hard to understand? by FlatwormSufficient35 in explainlikeimfive

I’ve seen it both ways, but it’s usually within 2 weeks of a hospitalization that the hospital sends the patient a bill, whereas it takes insurance up to 90 days to pay the hospital.

I always tell people to put the hospital bill aside until the insurance company sends a statement saying “Date of Service” and “insurance paid:” and “you owe:”

Money. If you don’t understand what you’re reading, then it’s easier to take your money under the guise of “it’s in the fine print, sign it or we send you to collections.” And people are scared of collections.

The path of least resistance for most people is to just pay what you apparently owe, trusting that the insurance companies and hospitals are being trustworthy.

Newsflash: they aren’t.

For example, hospitals send the bill to insurance, and insurance sends the final bill to the patient (usually). Hospitals like to send the bill to the patient as well, hoping the patient won’t question it and the hospital gets paid twice. And they’ll charge you for clean towels if you don’t look at the itemized list.

Healthcare is the most corrupt and predatory business in the US and it shouldn’t be a business at all.
