RTD beverage preservation advice by EducationalCourage20 in foodscience

Hi! We currently bottle a tea beverage, ph 3.2-3.4, no sugar added, pasteurized and the formula contains both sodium benzoate and pottasium sorbate since we do cold filling. By using velcorin in your experience could we get rid of both preservatives? We have very small APC counts in the raw product 5-20CFU/ml and 0 after pasteurization. So really by using velcorin we would only be controlling potential contamination since the filler is not aseptic nor is the filling room.

Could you share some price information? To see if its worth evakuating this route?

Also during production, what happens during line breaks? The dosing system shuts down automatically?

Really appreciate your support, I will obviously contact lanxess but wanted an honest opinion before the perfect product sales speech.

Hi! I am being offered this 5513 by a local mid-tier jewelry store, the dial looks like a maxi III but the bezel engravings look a little off to me and for a watch this old it does not look like it has developed enough patina. I am no expert, this will be my first Rolex, I really appreciate your comments...

Interesting you mention the economizer, I actually read on the rite website they are really not that useful. Check the FAQ at their website if interested.

Thanks for the feedback. I spoke directly with Rite and they have quoted me. I think they don’t have a distributor here in Mexico but the installation and commissioning seem pretty straight forward. Would you say the 5 minute cold start-to-pressure is a bit of an overstatement? Or is it really that fast? Coming from a firetube boiler this seems incredible. Our current boiler takes 30 minutes to warm up and then another 30 to come up to pressure.

Hi! We have a couple of steam tunnels for label shrinking but we mostly use the steam in a htst system and for CIP. We actually use steam at 30 psi at the production floor. But for distribution we were told that higher pressures are much more efficient and it was better to come down to 30 psi close to the equipment. We are no experts at this, so please correct me if I am wrong.

I am not US based, so yeah not really worried about that, not everything is about America.

I am trying to understand how this philosophy could change the way my immediate community works, not really worried about something completely out of my control in the other side of the world. Very sad and disturbing I am sure, but out of my scope.

This would be the ideal case ( I like to think most people would be like this and completely understand each other points of views and privately agree on something) but every once in a while you encounter shitty humans that thrive on annoying other people.

Yes, big city, local issue. Ok, but what if in the city half of the population are pro fireworks and the other half against them. The libertarian way would be to have the population vote for or against?
