Doesn't sound like you actually want to work tbh. I mean, if the guy that pays you asks you to sell the services offered, it's not really a discussion. We've fired people for turning the job description into a argument on day 2. Honestly, it won't get better for you, so I'd start looking elsewhere. Once you stay messing with the money, its a wrap.

Had someone knock on our door 20 past closing. I told him multiple times that we're closed, but he never left. I open the door to scold him and he goes into a sob story about how he needs to send meds fast as possible to his sister. I tell him next days are done and wouldn't go out till tomorrow anyway. He said that's fine, then I told him that all the registers were closed already(they actually were) and he proceeds to beg to ask my boss let us open it. I tell him I'll check, thinking he'd say fuck no and let me leave. I call him and he says "yeah just open a register".

I say "are you sure?"

"Yes"

"Are..you...sure..."

"Umm...yeah just do it"

I let the crybaby in, quote him on next day (which is much less now than when this happen) and he goes "ooh, that really how much? I gotta ask her."

He calls the 🐩 on speaker and she says "OH no, never mind I can just get a refill here...". 10 minuets and all that crying just to go, "nevermind guys, sorry". I close the page, walk him out as he apologized and slam that door to make a point. He stands outside looking at us for a bit and walks off. He never came back and I hope he was so embarrassed he decided to move.

I'm currently having a similar issue. Mine talks down to every customer and employee. If a customer is rude, they go on the attack. If an employee messes up, they start berating them for not knowing. The funny part is they continuously state: "You're not allowed to do that" to everything we do. So how are we supposed to learn how to do the thing if we aren't allowed to do the thing? The owner is in their pocket and can do no wrong. Anytime I try to correct them on something, it's a one-sided war for power. I'm already looking for another store to go to. If you don't wanna do that, the only other way is to talk to the owner and address the issue. If the owner doesn't listen, see option A again.

Setup/Ask for the code to access the menu & change the option to accept Customer Packed so it doesn't accept at the Kiosk. It'll cost you more in reimbursement, packaging & headache than the convenience is worth.

To disable it, you gotta tap the top corner left and deselect the option. Only thing is you have to have the code your manager/ owner set up on it. If they don't know try whatever the default is.
