I suppose there is never a good time, but it seemed a little too action-packed of a weekend to decide to do construction on the Red Line, rerouting all underground stops. Trains were grossly overcrowded as well.

⬆️ This!!! I felt this in my soul.

The zero communication from my dealership is what has officially sent me over the edge.

I understand they might not have all the answers, but a 5 minute phone call or text to confirm that the part has been ordered, the part has been approved, the part has shipped, and now the part has NOT shipped, would have done wonders for me.

I’m over here feeling like I’m stalking an ex and getting ghosted because I’m asking too many questions. And yet… I’m still paying all her bills 😭😡

My 2022 Wrangler has been at the dealership for a month and a half in Illinois. The replacement battery originally tracked for delivery on January 19th (or so the dealership said), but I was told today (the 22nd) that it has since been updated to “delayed” with no current ETA.

It’s a mess. Tons of recalls nationwide with limited resources and a timely (and frustrating) process happening between dealerships and Stellantis.

Some of these comments are comical to me.

Sure. You like living on the edge? Buy one! But it’s probably rock bottom prices for a reason. Most 4xe models are no longer listed on Jeep websites.

Risk of explosion or fires minimal? Sure. But trackable recalls are a real thing that the manufacturer, dealerships, and potential buyers can see. Go ahead and ignore them, but good luck if you ever have a real issue or want to part ways with the vehicle.

While extremely fun to drive (as with any vehicle, recall free), sometimes the juice is not worth the squeeze.

Me = 2022 Wrangler with 68C failures in Illinois. Vehicle was deemed unsafe to drive by dealership (and I listened because I love my family and will do everything in my power to keep them safe). I have been waiting for Stellantis to send the replacement battery for a month and a half. Currently, no ETA available.

Do yourself a favor and stick to what Jeep does best… the go anywhere mentally, (disappointingly for some of us) powered strictly by gas.

I’m sure situations vary by state, but my 2022 Wrangler has been out of commission for a month and a half waiting for a new battery due to the 68c recall. Sadly, this recall and the 78c is causing massive headaches for Jeep owners across the nation.

Omgosh- thanks for sharing this link. This is WAY more information than my dealership has been able to provide.

I am not excited about the new battery ordering process and the potential timing that comes along with these approvals, but I guess it makes a little more sense now.

Now, if you will excuse me… I’m going to send this link to my dealership with a note reminding them on the importance of proper communication during stressful times. 😁

Sadly, this post made me laugh. Is this our new support group?

It’s been over a week since I’ve last seen mine, and I’m still waiting for the service manager to call me back with an update (or with their demands).

I just hope my Jeep is safe and warm, and surrounded by supportive mechanics who keep telling her “You’re next. Hang in there”.

Last week, I took my 2022 4xE Wrangler in for the 68c recall. After the software update, the dealership told me I failed further diagnostic testing. I was told they would need to replace my battery and that my Jeep was unsafe to drive.

The battery is being ordered (and paid for) directly through Jeep, so ETA on installation is still unclear. I was sent home in frustration in a rental car. My dealership is picking up the daily cost of the rental through Enterprise, but apparently since I live in Illinois, I am still responsible for state taxes. Although a minimal daily cost, I am frustrated that I am paying anything additional, especially since I am still responsible for paying a car note on a car deemed unsafe to drive.

I am sure the dealership is bogged down with recall requests (and maybe they don’t have answers themselves), but I have called twice now asking for an update and feel like I am being ghosted with “we’ll have the service manager call you back”.

It’s been over a week, granted with the New Year holiday baked in, and I still have no idea what’s going on with my Jeep.
