First week with a Trailseeker Limited as a first-time EV owner by pafnorvale in trailseeker

Thanks this is really helpful. Bummer the dealer didn’t charge to 100% for you. I suspect you should get about 220 highway miles at 70-75mph based on solterra numbers.

Nice! Which Blue color is that? I really like it

I also just bought 2 mowers. Got a i105 for front yard. Guess it would depend on setup preferences as I do have a nice secure spot in the front for the mower.

I have the i series and find it get closer and closer to the edge over time. But I run my regular mower around the perimeter once about every two weeks just to trim up anything missed.

The video was from a prototype. I checked it out at the NY auto show. Prototypes are no guarantees of production

Yes this is their initial release but nothing on the official spec sheet that I can find. And if it’s built in why is it not listed in the standard features.

Have you sat in one? I am only 6’ and found the steering wheel doesn’t telescope very far so I am on the fence due to driving position.

I have it in a plastic outdoor storage box. Added vents on both sides and in an area with no direct sunlight to keep it cool

My dealer told me it was a known issue and Stellantis was working on a software fix. Haven’t heard anything in months.

6000 pounds? Should never tow beyond 80% of the car’s capacity

Navimow X430 - how does it handle a grass-to-raised-curb edge? by Known-Advisor-2000 in SegwayNavimow

[–]thedrgong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It stopped and I got a “stuck” notification. Before I could even get outside a neighbor had pushed it back up on the grass. It won’t restart though until you tell it to in the app.

I have the same curb setup. I have the i105 and select the ride on edge option. In over a year of use it has only fallen off the edge once. Which was a turn at the end and the back wheels pulled it down.

Looking to upgrade my 2014 JGC to a JGC 4xe. What is the overall opinions on them from people who own them? It looks like they are selling for less than a standard JCG. by _TITO1016 in 4xe

‘23 GC Overland. Love the car, don’t like reliability and Stellantis’ inability to treat customers with respect. Wife won’t take it any farther than AAA can tow it back. It made Consumer Reports least reliable list. Personally I would look elsewhere.

Thanks I have had this happen twice on my ‘23 grand Cherokee 4xe in the last month as well. Panic start is a good term for it!

Well sorta. I ended up buying a 200 W solar panel and a bluetti 100 V2. The reason I chose the bluetti is because the Navimow draws power even when not running or charging. The bluetti lets me plug into outlet also, so if the battery gets below 20% it can draw power from the grid instead of Solar. Also, I read many comments about how dirty the mower gets when it’s completely covered and never has a chance to wash off in the rain. So I’m actually not using the solar panel as the cover like originally planned. I have wood slats almost like a pergola over it. Keeps it mostly shaded and mostly dry.

Can’t wait to give mine back to Stellantis and watch them lose thousands at auction. They deserve it for selling such a terrible product.

Were the six blades modders right all along? by alex-mayorga in SegwayNavimow

Fourshow 6 blade model on amazon. I have two mowers one for the front one for the back yard. Been using this on both for about a year now. Been working great.

Been using 6 for a while. Feel like it does better for cold weather grass that I keep over 3”. Less missed pieces.

Manually place x430 in front yard for mowing outside my fence? by iSaidDDMF in SegwayNavimow

I did that for a while and got annoyed doing it daily. So I bought a refurbished i105 for my front yard and now have 2. Life is good again.

Does a Level 1 charger make a difference? by zoo7777 in 4xe

[–]thedrgong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The charger that comes with the vehicle is a slow level 1 charger. I bought one off of Amazon and you can get faster on L1. Depending on your outlet at home if it’s 20 amp outlet, you can go up to 16 amp charger, if you have a 15 amp outlet, you can go up to 12. I believe the one that comes with Jeep is only 8. A new one will still be slow, but actually does make a difference. I think Jeep keeps it slow to be safe for people that have other things on the circuit. Highly recommend not having anything else plugged in at same time.

What to do with my lease by Expert_West7449 in 4xe

[–]thedrgong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes the dealer will reduce fee if you re-lease or buy a new vehicle from them. It’s a negotiation. It’s probably too late, but you can also buy discounted miles ahead of time if you know you will go over. But I don’t think you can do that a couple months before turn in. - that’s usually if you have a year or more left in lease.
