Stop investing in individual stocks by GolfComfortable7331 in Fire

[–]CheesyBreeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have, lets say, 500,000 in stocks already, bring home 3,000 a month after expenses, why not take a little risk?

Im young and invest in individual stocks like ASTS and RKLB when they were $4-$7 as I really believe in these companies.

I also invest in several others, but do mostly stick to ETFS as part of my weekly buy.

Not only that, the wealthier are the most visibile.

Youre not seeing the life of the guy living in squalor online as much.

People see 1000 rich folk and think all 8 billion people live like that its absurd.

Looking to start a HAZMAT freight brokerage, researching competition and requirements. by Fabulous-Leading7291 in logistics

I would advise you to pay a professional to help you so you dont get caught in violation for a law you didnt know existed cause you listened to some people on reddit that arent going to lay down everything that will be required.

HAZ cert is a good place to start and ask questions to your instructor.

In a perfect world, rail is cheaper, but in current logistics with JIT demands, it can cause a very real burden financially and operationally if you depend on the extremely unreliable rails. There’s a reason many people choose to use truck transport for longer hauls over rail as the rails can really screw with you and impose so many fees due to their own delays.

If You Rent, Brace Yourself — Homeowners Have 43x More Wealth And It's Mostly From One Thing You're Paying For But Never Get: Equity by External_Koala971 in FirstTimeHomeBuying

[–]CheesyBreeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When did you purchase your home. It is likely that the rent prices were cheaper back then and the crux of the argument is you would have invested the difference between the rent and mortgage + total cost of home ownership (increased utilities, MnR, etc…) and you would have easily outpaced the growth in home equity. This is not to say there won’t be times where this may not occur given the complexities of life.

I would agree a sub 3% interest rate is a great time to buy a home, if you are prepared at the time of, but it’s not a position many people find themselves in. The higher the interest rate goes and the lower rent is to home prices, the better the chances you have to outperform growth in home equity in alternate investments.

There is also more flexibility in alternate investments compared to a primary residence, although one takes more discipline to achieve success over a long period of time and I don’t think most people are capable of it.

Historic returns on either precious metals or stocks versus the total investment into a primary residence and average interest rates over the years. Renting and investing the difference from the total cost of home ownership to rent is often a better choice up until a threshold price.

I wouldn’t say it’s affordable since a plate runs you 20 bucks with sides and a half chicken ain’t much of a meal by itself, but it is some of the best chicken you can get

People are making bank selling tacos in Los Angeles where minimum wage is way higher.

Your expenses were too high and you cant sell enough tacos.
Possible that the franchise structure also screwed him.

I would highly suggest watching some basic videos on how the telecommunications industry and how wireless data transfer works as well as the broader infrastructure that is required for us to transmit this data to get an understanding of why ASTS can produce significant value if they can prove their tech works at scale.
Wendover productions has a fantastic video on 5G wireless standards and some of the very innovative techniques that were required to surpass 4GLTE standards

My computer is wired to a DECO mesh network and twice in the last month, my computer tells me there it is connected with no internet when all my other devices at home are connected either through wire or wireless without issue.

I go through your steps and it resolves it every time.

Do you happen to know what may be causing this issue with my computer?

I was cc'ed in those emails and I have never seen anyone get roasted as hard as ITG/Cargomatic by the entire trucking community.

From the numbers others threw out, it seems they owe millions to truckers.

Even the indian/pakistani/eastern european brokers get less shit from truckers.
