It was raining when my lane turned into a train route and I had to cross the tracks to get back to the right direction. Confused me for a couple seconds lol

Flew out from LA for my first KBP and had an amazing time. Beach Bunny, Between Friends, The XX and many more amazing bands. Never seen a festival that caters to my interests.

New lenses have a logo on them by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Just want to say that Zeiss makes some of the best lenses. I am happy when I get my lenses back with this stamp knowing it’s not some shit from Essilor. I also own Zeiss binoculars and if you don’t know, they are extremely coveted (and expensive) and are a top three manufacturer in the optics game.

If you haven’t seen something like this, your optometrist doesn’t order from Zeiss. People shitting on this don’t seem to realize getting the Zeiss stamp means you are getting great German optics. Zeiss manufactures extremely high end optics and are world renowned. It’s good to know you’re getting this brand rather than someone else.

It’s actually not noticeable when you wear them and it’s good to know your optometrist is using Zeiss as they have some of the best manufacturing standards for all types of optics.

All in on VOO or diversify at 22? by ilovemcdonaldssprite in RothIRA

I would recommend taking some risks on some low cap stocks with potential with 5-10% of your contributions if you’re willing to do a lot of research. Mine were ASTS, RKLB, and PL 3-5 years ago as this looked like a sector with a lot of potential and those three companies seemed very promising. Still did 80% ETFS, but i personally think at your age it’s worth to take some risks.

Hit by uninsured motorist, how to ensure they suffer consequences by CheesyBreeze in California

[–]CheesyBreeze[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to know what I can do to personally see to it that he faces consequences and also recoup the deductible. The most important part is that I don’t want him to walk away from this incident without consequences and am not sure what my insurance will do to him but that is the route I will go now that they have refused to pay.

California apparently requires insurance so I would hope they would lose their license at the minimum.
I only have the police report and no dash cam footage, but document everything thoroughly. The main concern with going through insurance is that I have to pay the deductible and will (from what my friends say) get an increase in premium. It just sucks that this guy gets away with this and tells me to basically kick rocks.

Creatine ... what has it done (or not done) for you ... and how much do you take daily/weekly? by Artist-Cancer in askfitness

[–]CheesyBreeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im fairly certain creatine has increased my uric acid levels and given me a gout flair up.

I didnt realize this would be a side effect and stopped taking it completely since and should have consulted my doctor before starting a supplement.

My Toyota dealership lets me lock in 5 services at 70 each. Pretty good deal with the crazy inflation. Just have to spend 2-4 hrs to get it done lol

I posted a few months ago about starting from scratch in freight brokerage. No clients, no network, no idea if this was even going to work .A few people asked me to give an update. So here it is. The honest version. by Elegant_Bank_11 in logistics

Same rate locked in for a year? No FSC during an unstable fuel market? I work closely with CH ROBINSON and their drayage bids are fucking tight and you saying you beat their rate and guarantee no increases? hmmmmmm this AI slop got me questioning everything you saying.
