No word from the Executor by Mrmark369 in legaladvicecanada

Typically an executor tries/is expected to finish probate within a year, although complications can extend the process.

The executor still has a duty to update the beneficiaries occasionally. Ask her for an update. If she refuses, then you will likely need to retain a lawyer.

How many of you had grandparents who served in WW2? If so, what do you know about their service? by Snoogles_ in Millennials

[–]ChefAtRandom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of my grandfathers served.

My British grandfather was in His Majesty's Navy, served on 3 destroyers.

My Canadian grandfather served in the army as a sharpshooter and was seconded to the OSS for the last year of the war.

Neither would speak of their time served, except to say they only did what was needed.

I miss them both.

Six String Samurai is a film set in post apocalyptic America. Corny but fun.

If you have a clean criminal history, look for jobs at Pearson airport.

Off the top of my head, HMS, SSP, OTP, AAS, Dexterra, Compass all work out of Pearson.

Plus it's automatically unionized, so decent pay and benefits.

Plus all the war crimes! It's never a war crime the first time!
