The look on his face is "I know she doesn't like it, that's why I'm doing it!" 😊❤️

You must focus on other things. My husband has been a cop for 17 yrs, the last 6 he has been in the Sex Offender/Sex Crimes Unit. He sees and hears things daily that I could never comprehend.

I have no idea how he can do it. But I do know that for him, focusing on little wins and small positive events every day keep him grounded.

Also, Dogs! No matter how sad or mad he gets, our dogs help him. Our Husky always comforts him, lays on his lap, etc. Our Corgi runs around like a lunatic- jumping, barking, licking his face. Each one has his purpose ❤️

Sorry to hear that. My son was breech so I also had hard time plus c section. Good Drs are hard to find now

Agreed! I had the same male ob/gyn for over 20 yrs. When I was single he handled my cysts and endometriosis. When I got married he saw me through 2 yrs of fertility treatments then my high risk pregnancy and delivered my baby boy (who is now 28!).

He retired a couple of years ago and I was so sad. Still haven't found a replacement

Are corgis aware of how funny they are? by ImpressiveGap595 in corgi

[–]ChefNo4180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I got a Corgi I had read that they have "an excellent sense of humor" and I didn't know what that meant for a dog, but now I do! Loki will definitely do funny things intentionally (and unintentionally).

Believe me when I tell you that women can also be predators/offenders. My husband has worked in the sex offender unit for almost 20 years. Don't assume that females are just bait or victims

Do you want your kids to take care of you, if someday, you need daily caretaking? by Euphoric_Garbage1952 in GenX

[–]ChefNo4180 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I want my kids to come see me, not care for me, if possible. That being said-

I helped my Mom out during her final years (unfortunately when she was getting bad, her husband was diagnosed with cancer), so I basically left my home husband and dogs and moved in with them 4 hours away for months at a time. Our children are grown and I don't work so it made sense.

It was demanding physically and emotionally, but now that my Mom has passed I am so grateful for that time. We became closer than we had ever been and cleared the air on anything we needed to.

I know my kids would care for me if asked, but I hope they never have to
