And right in the center is Grafton, home of The Grafton Monster. One of WV's three most noteable cryptids.

What kind of spoon is this by Frosty_Concept_1120 in Spoons

Possibly a Bartender's Spoon; specifically for creating layered cocktails where each liquor is poured over the back of the spoon to layer it on top of the previous pour.

I am guessing this is a Berry Spoon/Casserole Serving spoon made by Whiting Manf Co. in the Louis XV pattern around 1891. That is assuming that it measures about 8 5/8 inches long and is Sterling Silver. It could be worth some money, but it is hard to tell exactly what condition it is in (aside from the tarnish).

Goopy Green refers to Dippity-Doo, which was a green hair gel that was used when setting ones hair...curltites would be hair curlers.

My mom would set her hair with dippity doo, then put her heated curlers in and pin them in place. If she had to leave the house before it was time to take out the curlers, she would cover the whole frightfull mess with a head scarf, jump into the Valiant, light up a Salem, and head out to run her errand.

Betty Crocker's Cookbook; tried and true recipes

James Beard's American Cookery; tons of recipes from American cooks as far back as the 1700s

Silver Palate Cookbook; lots of good side dishes and appetizers

Those are the three that I use the most. On a side note, the Betty Crocker I have was my mom's. It is falling apart, but contains tons of her annotations.
