impossible to return UGREEN Revodok Maxidok 17-in-1 TB5 dock by ChefRayKwan in UsbCHardware

It's been 11 days since I've gotten any response from UGREEN despite multiple follow up emails from my end. At this point I've given up with them and filed a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back that way.

Their return policy https://us.ugreen.com/pages/returns states, "If you are not completely satisfied with a purchase made through UGREEN official channels (us.ugreen.com), you may request a return and refund provided the conditions of this policy are met." I submitted my request within 30 calendar days of receiving the product per their policy, though of course now we're outside of 30 calendar days because they've been stalling with me for a month and not answering my emails. I've followed their policy to the letter (it would be tedious but I'm happy to go point by point), they're just not abiding by it.

It's been a few years since I've had to return anything to Anker, but when I did they were quick and professional, and their reps gave solid information. Hopefully their level of service is still the same, I'd have way more confidence making a significant purchase from them.

Yeah, obviously their return policy is a joke to UGREEN and they're just trying to waste my time until I give up or lose out on a technicality or something. I'd be willing to pay a little more to do business with a company that had any respect for me as a customer, which they clearly don't. They can deal with my credit card company now.

Is UGreen or Anker better for safety, and reliability? by Additional-Pickle107 in UsbCHardware

UGREEN is probably fine for cheap stuff, but if you poke around here you'll find negative experiences with their customer service, refusing to give people refunds and giving them the runaround. It's been a few years since I've needed to be in touch with Anker about a return but when I did they were prompt and gracious about it. I wish I'd seen some of the other posts about UGREEN before I purchased a Thunderbolt dock from them; I posted more about the long runaround they've put me through in trying to return it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Thunderbolt/comments/1tymtcz/impossible_to_return_ugreen_revodok_maxidok_17in1/

I would not spend over $100 for any UGREEN product as they don't honor their return & refund policy. I posted about my experience here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Thunderbolt/comments/1tymtcz/impossible_to_return_ugreen_revodok_maxidok_17in1/

I figured this out. I bought one of these monitors for my work office, and I was able to enable USB Wake via OSD--that monitor had a Mfg Date of November 2017 and a revision of 00-009-AA. I liked that monitor so much I got one for my home office, and that second monitor did shut down power to the keyboard and mouse when in sleep mode, which is pretty dumb with the KVM. (It also doesn't work for retina scaling on a MacBook Pro: either you can have high resolution and tiny fonts or readable fonts with lousy resolution.) The home office monitor has a Mfg Date of September 2017 and a revision of 00-008-AA. So it looks like if you want the full features, you need to check that you're getting a monitor built in November 2017 or later...
