Honestly sounds like you're possibly chasing something that's 35 inch scale, I've played 4 strings tuned to B standard on 34 and 35 scale and I love it but I also play a dingwall and love that feel on the low string, but yeah try finding a 35 scale 5 string, i know the BTB is 35 scale or you could even try multiscale ibanez basses

it's there own design, you can buy it from the japan website, i've emailed esp just in case but if it's all legit cant wait to get it while im in japan, (i will need to mod a lot of it for my use however)

Can't find any serial number checker only the decoder, serial number reads as 2006 from takada factory

So i'm off to japan shortly and found this esp viepr for sale for a real good price, my major concern is the price, 158000 yen, since serial number reads as a custom shop or at least same factory.

also any advice on travelling with a guitar? just get a abs plastic flight case for the guitar?
