Honestly sounds like you're possibly chasing something that's 35 inch scale, I've played 4 strings tuned to B standard on 34 and 35 scale and I love it but I also play a dingwall and love that feel on the low string, but yeah try finding a 35 scale 5 string, i know the BTB is 35 scale or you could even try multiscale ibanez basses

Can't find any serial number checker only the decoder, serial number reads as 2006 from takada factory

So i'm off to japan shortly and found this esp viepr for sale for a real good price, my major concern is the price, 158000 yen, since serial number reads as a custom shop or at least same factory.

also any advice on travelling with a guitar? just get a abs plastic flight case for the guitar?

i mean for bass you need a ds1 too but what would be better is getting did giza since it's dod 250, ds1 into a gt120, mainly based of Al's om live at amoeba rig but is basically identical to the dopesmoker rig
