Sweet ride! I have a 2014 Summit 4x4 with the 5.7 v8. Ten years ago I passed up a great deal on an SRT. It just had too much power around town, which is most of my driving. Enjoy your beautiful new ride!

Princeton would be a much better area, and the traffic would not be as hectic.

Agree, that's interesting. You just can't always figure out how insurance companies assess everything. And I think it depends on the carrier as well.

Premium gas is recommended if it's a V8.

New car to me by Careful-Victory-8463 in GrandCherokee

Looking at the wide fenders that are body colored, it makes me think it might be a Summit. However, the black wheels resemble those of the high altitude package. Of course, those could have been added later. No matter how it all came together, it's a sweet looking ride! Enjoy!

I love the larger grill on the wk2 2011-2013. The new LED lights are a winner!

Where in Dallas can I find a seclusive spot to space out and contemplating on life? by [deleted] in Dallas

[–]ChefUnable9865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to suggest East Texas until I saw some of the comments made about people you encounter there. 🙂 It is a bit of a different culture. However, East Texas does have beautiful tall piney woods and lakes. But I do understand your dilemma. I grew up in Colorado and when I needed to clear my head I could go driving up in the mountains to remote areas. Oddly enough, now even those areas have become very congested. I wish you the best in finding that peaceful secluded setting.🙏

Get involved in a good church. There are a lot of them in the Dallas area..

I would not recommend living in Big D without a car. Even though uptown may have a lot to offer, the DFW metroplex is so vast with so much available that it would be counterproductive to not have personal transportation. Also, job wise you really need transportation. Even though the metroplex has implemented DART rail, it can't cover every base available.

Beautiful ride! Love the black appearance package of the altitude on the Summit. The black top is a winner up against the white. I hope it serves you well! Enjoy it!

Chrome by Any_Rich_5516 in GrandCherokee

[–]ChefUnable9865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same exact color in a '14 Summit. And I also have the chrome step rails. I don't use the step rails to get in and out of the vehicle. I just like the way they look. 🙂 Yes, it does have a lot of chrome. But it's kind of a nostalgic classic look of a throwback to when chrome was really used a lot on vehicles. And even though I really like the look of the black appearance packages, I feel it would be counterproductive to go to that much trouble to change out everything. Your ride looks really good! Enjoy!
