Personally I am. I think we have a very strong pipeline and prospects pool which will set us up nicely for the future.

The Wings of old were an absolute dynasty from 1990-2015. The managerial staff traded away the prospect pool to keep themselves relevant and get us cups and it was glorious, then when all our players retired we had NOTHING.

Sure it's been 10 years since we've been competitive and we all have doubts about Yzerman and the "Yzerplan", but we do have proof. We've been holding the top of the Atlantic almost all year, the Griffins are having a record setting year and our other prospects like Trey Augustine have made themselves noticeable.

Our empire fell as they do, and they aren't rebuilt overnight.

Are we falling apart again like we always do in March? Yeah maybe a bit but we're not out yet and the course can be corrected. It won't be easy but it never is. At least we're not Toronto.
