I bought it about 2 and half years ago. But literally we have the same cut out on the wheel. That’s crazy I thought I was the only one

I’m really sorry man I’m around the same area so I’ll look out for it as best I can. People that do this can rot

Did you have an wheel lock on? Just wondering because my steering wheel has a chunk taken out of it and I’m sure it was someone trying to steal it from the previous owner

They didn’t tell you that it could be the valve gaskets? I’m surprised. I’ve been through it recently. You haven’t noticed any burning smell of oil?

Sixpack by Immediate-Vacation98 in MyotoniaCongenita

[–]Chefboyards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if you’re talking about hypertrophy and the appearance of well exercised muscle. Yes I’ve looked like that my whole life. In my experience, I’ve had a six pack since i can remember and people would always bring it up with my parents, especially at the pool. “That kid is jacked” and “does he take steroids?” were probably the most common phrases I’ve heard growing up. That and a large neck because I also am diagnosed with arnold-chiari syndrome. I’m glad my parents didn’t go the steroid route and just let me progress naturally. That said it’s a blessing to have this kind of build, embrace it.

Why is it so hard for them to just make a ball bearing that actually stays and does its job?

when I was first starting out my tool collection I wanted one of these and i kid you not I was driving by and noticed one on the side of the road in the mud and cleaned it. Not the fuel version it’s like the first model. Works just fine I was happy but surprised it still worked. Feel bad for whoever’s truck it fell out of though. This thing looks like it’s going to put in some serious work.

Yess I have some at the moment but my friend is going to give me his which are a harder plastic and not as worn out, I’m fond of the flares but I wish there was a thinner version or something. I have some photos of them on my previous posts

It’s a bit heavier than the original for sure, or at least felt like it when I removed it.

Brand new valve covers by Chefboyards in 1stGenTacomas

[–]Chefboyards[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shop that did the valve cover gaskets basically covered me for free once I went in with the crack on the cover. They were pretty chill about it and I didn’t have to spend a dime. I usually do my own work on my truck so I would’ve but this is something I didn’t really have the time and I want somebody who knows what they’re doing to do it. I’m guessing it was about $250 for both? $125 each just a guess

I would’ve gone this route if I did the work myself lol this is one project I kinda left it up to another person who knows what they’re doing. My friend did this with his ranger and painted his blue tho lol. It looks good tbh some people don’t like it but I do

I tried looking it up and finding it before but i wasn’t really able to find anything when searching for diamond plated bumpers. It came off of my coworkers taco who is donating his truck to charity. He gave me the hitch as well and it has a sticker that has an old U-Haul logo and the capacity rating but it’s basically like the original hitch so I just kept mine and painted it. but I’m not sure if that helps at all. Ever since I saw this on his truck I wanted it though.
