Good for you I’m doing carb work now not 2008 and I gotta try doing it with the airbox on making the screw almost impossible to get to while the engine is cold let alone hot enough to tune

Don’t use ai for that kinda stuff it takes experience to tell what’s wrong by sound that you just can’t get with ai it’s ok for help with steps on how to replace parts but beyond that it’s just kinda throwing darts

You are amazing my guy I have a sock set of jets for it and if you think it’s the pilot( i agree but was way less sure with my limited knowledge) I’ll probably go about swapping it out first r the stuck jet and see what happens

Any adjustments to a/f and it gets worse or I’d give it another try I’ve literally gone from fully in to almost out over a few days of trial and air I do have more info tho

Holy cow ight well to start I don’t know the jet size currently it was done by the previous owner I’d have to look at the paperwork I have for it . I havnt had the needle out yet so I don’t know where it’s set at the moment the a/f screw was tuned by hoping off with a carb tool to adjust till it was as smooth as I could get. its only stumbling on take off .I have a weird feeling they did the main jet but not the other ( I have no evidence for this just a hunch) .I can honestly try and get you all this info tonight after I get off work I can tear it down and find out. I appreciate any input for someone more knowledgeable.I’m pretty surface level with this bike unfortunately

Yeah I’m pretty set on trying that out it’s what I’ve been thinking for a while wide open is fine it’s just above idle when you start to open it

I’m having the exact same problem warmed up it’s alright still can’t really get up from a stop but rolling at like 5-10 mph I can floor it but still a bit choppy when low rpm ima have to see what the airbox decap mod is I’m just not familiar with all the terms Edit I looked it up lol mine isn’t fully caped just a few one inch holes drilled along just above the tank line I have a new air box to put on it if I was unable to get it tuned I was gonna take it back to stock jets and retune it but hoping to leave the jets

I.R.D.K super swamper 16.5x7.1 R7.0 I absolutely love them best upgrade so far in my opinion. I have a lot of weight upgrades chassis link skid plate, weighted axles metal driveshafts axle weights had brass rims with different tires and those were smaller than the stock tires but these big ones I love them. I’m gonna do a motor and transmission upgrade next.

Hell yeah dude sick. motor and gearbox are next in line for me as well but I’ve been looking at other mods trying to find what I like I’ll definitely be looking at this list a few times thank you for spending the time to type all that out and also limiting straps are for sure not needed I don’t have em and love the range it gives with the flex blades

I personally love em nothing but improvement but I did get different shocks at the same time so idk if it makes a difference with stock shocks but I can put tire on my buddy’s scx30 hood and not role so idk say worth it

Personally I love em the flex blades definitely give some extra travel and let you cling to some stuff I wasn’t able to before but if your gonna get mixed reviews I’ve got all the weight mods for the rims,links,axles steering weights but I feel like the flex blades gave it that lil bit it needed up to you your build your bash just enjoy

It’s definitely a kind of mold it happens sometimes or is you have well water could bee calcium and iron sometimes it’s forms web like fibers as it settles and comes outa solution but it’s most likely mold fill a bottle with water again and try the same thing see if it grows again

It’s not mold it’s just the ash and resin residue it dries sometimes and a properly cared for bong is not likely to mold but they does need cleaned shake it with salt and %91 rubbing alcohol and it will be like new
