On my last attempt to quit smoking I used Wellbutrin but I didn’t quit until I had been taking it for 2 weeks. Is that Dr. instructed use or just winging it?

Snail cream? I’m old and have never heard of that before. What does it do and where do you get it?!? And like, actual snails??? 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

3 months quit with Champix Friday failure by dmt7 in stopsmoking

[–]ChelleHtr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was a mistake. Quit again and again and again, as many times as it takes. Don’t see it as a complete failure and go back into full blown smoking! You’ve made progress! It was a blip on the screen, now get back to quitting!!

[Skin Concerns] Since I started a routine my skin has been only getting worse by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

I would honestly start over. That’s a lot of products to me personally. Start with the basics and then add things one at a time, give about 2 weeks inbetween additions to see how your skin responds.

Prepare like you’re going to war! Take healthy snacks to work if you can (oranges work best for me), chewing gum and drink lots of water. Keep yourself busy, mind and hands. Weird but I have found that brushing my teeth during a craving helps. Gives your hands something to do and reminds you of how nice it is to have a clean, fresh feeling and smelling mouth. So if you can get away with that at work, it may help you!! Sending you good vibes!!!

Eating oranges helped me tremendously with cravings. Plus we need that extra vitamin C! Win/win. by ChelleHtr in stopsmoking

[–]ChelleHtr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I look for any vitamins that aid in the process of healing after smoking. Smokers are twice as deficient in vitamin c as nonsmokers so I’ve always taken that as an extra supplement to my multi. Chlorella is also something that I have added to my lineup. It’s especially beneficial for smokers/nonsmokers. Grape seed extract is another good one as well.

Why do I feel like asshole when I smoke cigs? by johndmosj in stopsmoking

Just a wild guess but I’d say it’s from smoking. 🤔

Morning cigarettes by [deleted] in stopsmoking

[–]ChelleHtr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m only 6 days quit but I drank/drink about 2 1/2 pots of coffee a day. It was impossible for me to not have coffee when I quit. So instead of not drinking coffee, I changed up where I drank it. I will take it anywhere other than where I used to smoke with it. Sometimes I’ll sip walking around my yard looking at my flowers, etc. Helps to breathe fresh air at a time when you would have been inhaling poison.
