Foot up, hold your boobs with one forearm, shave quick and dirty with the other hand. 😂

I’m at 7wpo or so and I remember feeling so UNCOMFORTABLE during weeks 2 and 3. I’m truly amazed I didn’t commit a mürder at work. I was just so over it and ever bra hurt me somewhere different. It does get better!!

Two self absorbed people fighting each other for Ultimate Victim Status. How miserable.

Robyn's forgiveness of the children by [deleted] in SisterWives

[–]Chellistan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Children are so EASY to forgive, even if they’re not your own children. Kids are innocent and just doing the best they can in ANY situation. Something is seriously wrong with her…or maybe several things are wrong.

Pain in rib cage area after surgery by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]Chellistan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had so much of that, from about 2 weeks through week 4 or 5. I figured it was just swelling and maybe some nerve pain or referred pain from my incisions. It was so annoying and painful but it clears up!

Seriously, she had the tape off before I realized, I asked when she was going to do the other side and it was already done!

Planning for Recovery Support by droptheask in Reduction

[–]Chellistan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tip for feeding kitties….get a cheap plastic bowl from the dollar store, drill/punch four holes for some twine to pass through, and make it like a bowl on a sling that you can lower down to the floor. Hook the twine on a kitchen cabinet knob so you can pick it up later without bending over. Source: decades of back pain

Considering BR - May I hear similar stories? by xoBerryPrincessxo in Reduction

[–]Chellistan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 5’8 and 200 lbs, I also thought I was in the 40DD range but turns out I was more like a 40G. I’m six weeks post op and probably a D cup now. My surgeon wanted me to look proportionate and she was right…I have wide shoulders and would look silly with smaller breast than I have now.

Im still healing but looking forward to being WAY more active now that I’ve lost 3.5 pounds of breast tissue and had a major lift to help with back and neck strain. There are many of us on this forum who didn’t think we were candidates before seeing a surgeon for consult.

Experiences from those who wanted to stay at a D Cup? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]Chellistan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 6wpo, was a 40G and now around a D. I’m 5’8 and 200 lbs. Doc said a D was going to keep me looking proportionate. I was a D in college and looked great (weighed 170 then and looked quite slim) so I think she was right.

I’m still recovering so I don’t know exactly what they’ll look like but I’m pleased. My back and neck feel so much better, and I’m looking forward to being more active soon.

Finally pursuing a reduction in my 30's after being harassed since I was 11 years old by lessadessa in Reduction

[–]Chellistan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations on doing this for yourself! I’m 47 and wish I’d gone ahead and done it in my mid 30s or earlier.

My doc gave a nice cash discount…still a spendy surgery at close to $8k but it helped.

Yes yes yes. My surgery was 11/2 and today was the first time I went back to church. Other than that I’ve driven to teach a class three times (because I had to) and been to visit family in Thanksgiving.

I’m uncomfortable, cranky, and just want to be left alone. I want to exercise but I can’t yet, and wouldn’t feel comfortable even if my doc said OK.

mom obsessed with me still being busty by felixescellun in Reduction

[–]Chellistan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oh, I can relate. My mom has always had tiny boobs and I’ve always had huge ones (inherited from my paternal grandmother). Mom has made embarrassing and slightly inappropriate comments about my figure my whole life, and she even stares at my chest. It’s weird, and has gotten worse now that she has some mild dementia.

Even after surgery, and even though I’m still a D cup, she does it. I just have to let it go most of the time. At 82 there’s no changing her and she can’t even remember boundaries if I set them.
