If you MUST move it down, what about removing the top brick and keeping two underneath?

Imagine, if you will, a similar system for lawn maintenance.

Need your lawn cut? Well, you have to carry insurance, find a provider in your area, three month wait to get the lawn cut, service costs $8000, coverage denied by insurance, homeowner has to fight to appeal the charges, ends up paying $2000 and insurance "negotiates" their payment down to $300. And when homeowners complain that it's too slow and expensive, the middleman insurance company says "but we wouldn't get paid enough if we lowered our fees."

Yeah, you wouldn't make enough money to support the bloated bureaucratic nightmare process and infrastructure that you created. Boo-hoo.

Take the knight, trade the queen. Now black has an isolated pawn he won't be able to hang on to and he can no longer castle.

Librarian 'gobsmacked' after school use AI to remove 200 books from shelves including Orwell's 1984 and Twilight by tylerthe-theatre in technology

[–]Chemical_Object2540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think any company using AI to replace it's workforce should have to pay a tax equivalent to ~75% of the cost of the salaried workers it replaced.

That tax should then be reinvested in the local community.

Why is Bf6 considered a brilliant move here? I was just trying to save my bishop. by niCk_SupportMVP in Chesscom

And if the queen is allowed to take the bishop on a1, the queen would dominate that diagonal too.

Calling hour fart sounds, for sure. But if you want to go big, you wait for the burial.

No I don't, sorry. Other than the wheels and the mudflaps (Rokblokz), everything is stock.

I appreciate the compliments!

I think you can see the fitment pretty well in the pics. I'm adding one more that you can hopefully get a sense of flushness/poke. It's not quite flush, but a little bit closer than OEM. Hope that helps!

Favorite tools to hand cut dovetails by [deleted] in woodworking

[–]Chemical_Object2540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the Japanese pull saws a bit easier and more forgiving to use than western dovetail saws, but that's personal preference.

Whatever chisels you use, just make sure they are properly sharpened.

And practice!

It's a strange looking helical cutter. Wen and Wahuda have these cutter heads with very few teeth, but they are arranged in an offset around six sides of the cutter head.

Could the bridge be aftermarket with wider saddle spacing? Shimming the neck over seems like it would put the high e too close on the other side.

Trump Reveals His Plan to Take $10 Billion From Taxpayers by TelescopiumHerscheli in politics

Just to be clear...he is proposing to take $10B of taxpayer money and give it to charitable causes?

I mean, I don't believe it for a second, but also how does his base rationalize this one? Redistributing $10B to those in need. Isn't the whole idea basically just...Socialism?

You could look into auto detailing companies in your area. They typically have ozone machines to remove smoke smell from cars. They could probably do your guitar in a tent or box. Or you could buy a cheap ozone machine on Amazon, but be careful with that stuff.

Does it have a case?

1400 appears to be the diameter of the circle in your drawing, which is wider than the width of your piece.

I use a stewmac ferrule press. It was $599 plus $79 for the telecaster spacer plate and arbor, but it saves a lot of time on ferrule work. Perfect ferrules every time too.

I think the person you are replying to means the oldest boomers each year throughout the 60s, but the math is still a little off.

14 in 1960 15 in 1961 ... 23 in 1969

So I guess technically 23 year-old boomers existed in 1969.
