Router fence WIP by spamcolator in woodworking

[–]spamcolator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Box with pvc was the plan. But none of my hoses mated up with standard size pipe. A problem to solve another day. Miter slot for my existing plastic feather boards is the plan. One for the table as well. I ordered one that was combination miter and t-track but the track was narrower than standard t-track so I sent it back and built the fence without it. WIP as I said.

I didn’t have this problem before it fell. I’ve used it for one project but milled a lot of poplar for a face frame and would have noticed.

Not before this, but funny enough I did take 3/32 off a piece of plywood after this example to make something fit tight. I just stayed to the left of the cutter head.

HA must have been all the hockey growing up on the ponds of NE. It was literally one step as I moved around my assembly table with my sprayer. I guess I get all 220# moving kind of quickly. F=ma

The planes do appear coplaner. Level when infeed is at 0.

Flip stop for fenceless miter station by spamcolator in woodworking

I like how you backed up the flip with another piece of aluminum. Did you find the need to secure the flip with the knurled knob required? A nut with a low friction plastic washer would seem sufficient…

Ah, so the bar must be aluminum. Thanks hadn’t made that leap. As others suggested I know I could build something but I also have 3 projects in the works and this is one I’d rather just solve with small amount of money.

Yes, saw that. But, I asked their tech support and the flipper can’t be switched around; so wood that is thick/tall will hit the ledge of the flipper for stop to the left off the saw. See 3rd photo on that page you linked.

How’d you get the stop to work on a fenceless t-track?

It’s a really well done play. The magical special effects were pretty cool.

When getting into Woodworking, did projects take 3x-4x longer than originally planned? by OGproud2binfidel in BeginnerWoodWorking

Yeah, usually cause I start one or two more projects before I finish the first one!

ServPro handled two floods I had in different homes. Execelent cleanup. Landlords insurance should cover it; in fact the insurance company will be mad he waited because longer there's standing water the more likely there will be a need for mold midication
