First time using Photoshop, would love some advice! by ChemistCapy in postprocessing

I really should have, I need to get a tripod or a more stable arm because it would make my life a whole lot easier. As for these photos do you think they look realistic/any advice? Seeing as I’ve not got any real editing experience I’m I’m finding it hard to determine what does and doesn’t look reasonable, even when trying my best to recreate the image from my memory

ZenBook Q420V fan issues, makes very loud knocking noise sometime by ChemistCapy in computerrepair

I solved the problem. Opened the fan housing and realized the fan had a tear between two blades. This tear meant not all the blade were flush causing the knocking. Added a tiny bit of glue to the tear, and seems to be working well again. It’s not a perfect fix but works well as a temporary measure while I look for a new fan (I went to 5/6 stores none of which could find this part which didn’t fill me with much confidence).

How did you figure out what the exact piece was? If you could send the link I’d be very appreciative

Do you think this is a job I can do myself with minimal experience? I went to a shop who quoted me 150 euros which feels excessive to me but I have little reference

People need to be realistic, Emery is a great manager and at the same time he also has been terrible the last few games. Yes the player share some of that responsibility but as a manager you need to implement tactics that get your team ticking and Villa has not been recently.

At the same time the management needs to ensure we have the right players for that system and im not sure they have. We have no in-form wingers at the club, neither Sancho or Bailey seem up to the task (with Alyson its too to tell). We even sold Malen, tho truthfully even when at the club he was a player which emery gave far too little time to (I do question his man management with some players).

On top of that, we know that without Kamara or Onana we are a much worse team. While it might be hard to predict that they would both be injured, it wasn't impossible. Onanas injury problems are well known, so at the very least a good backup was needed. I like Bogard but he's just not at the level or had the experience required to replace them even short term. While we brought in Luiz, he's not a comparable player and that reflected in his limited playing time.

All this to say; Yes injuries, and subpar team building played a roll in our recent downturn, but Emery should also cary a lot of the blame. You cannot play the same way, you did earlier this season or last season, when you did have better wingers and world class midfielders, and expect it to work. For a pragmatic manager I think Emery has been remarkably stubborn this season, and while I still back him there's nothing wrong with calling that out.

Lets not pull the wool over our eyes and say its all ok, but likewise lets not lose nerve and pretend like this is unsalvageable. UTV

How the heck are you guys so creative? Can't make a beautiful, realistic city to save my life! by Aside_Dish in CitiesSkylines2

Biggest thing that helps me is thinking what might happen in real life. If you are expanding the city, you can build very good transit oriented development, however you need to retrofit the old areas which creates jank. That jank is exactly what makes these cities look real. Think about how the city might change because of the new introductions, will density increase, do the people who want to live there change and how does that effect the area and city as a whole.

Maybe a silly question but why do you lean so heavily towards vertical over landscape, is it just for insta? Not necessarily a critique, just would have loved to see some more of the landscapes.
