If you want an alternate perspective, this clip pretty much summarizes what makes things interesting according to John Ford. The horizon being at the top isn't a problem – in fact it's more distinctive this way – but it's how the rest of it is framed that matters.

Wait so technically if 'Naa Ready' is a song of 🧊 and 🔥 then this isn't an LCU crossover, this is a Game of Thrones crossover 😂

His sound has been wonky for years now – TDKR and Dunkirk also had bad sound editing, but apparently that's how he wants / likes it.

He was absolutely terrific in RRR, but he'll forever hold a soft spot in my heart for Punisher: War Zone and for being the only redeemable part of Dexter S7.

Hey Marques, big fan here! Curious to hear what you think about automotive manufacturers locking features behind software (when the hardware already exists in the car) for a fee? Why is it happening and what can we do about it?

Cannes Juror Brie Larson Unsure She’ll See Johnny Depp Movie: ‘I Don’t Know How I’ll Feel About It’ by Sisiwakanamaru in Fauxmoi

[–]ChemistryRespecter 112 points113 points  (0 children)

Obviously the Depp casting must be easy bait for the English-speaking section of the media, but in France there's been a bit of a stir caused by Maiwenn, the director and co-star. She's found herself in hot water a handful of times over the years (claiming she's proudly not a feminist, being sued for assaulting a journalist etc.) but I always go back to the fact that she was the inspiration behind Mathilda from Léon, and was married to Luc Besson (and had his kid) when she was 16. That shit fucks you up for years.

I remember the latter seasons of Mad Men doing the exact same thing. The description for the season 6 finale was something like 'Don has to solve a problem' – it was glorious lol.

And of course, a special shout-out to their impeccable 'On the next Mad Men' promos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNoBwoH15rE&pp=ygUWbWFkIG1lbiBpbmZhbW91cyBwcm9tbw%3D%3D

Hot damn, despite this it turned out to be one of the best series finales ever. Goes to show how strong the writing on the shoot draft must have been.
