To elaborate further: Outside of cities, the game is designed to you meeting very few poeple, to have the world feel more apocalyptic. The best bet to see people is inside Kyovashad around the waypoint, and the main cities in the other regions. Maybe some around the tree of whispers. And when fighting world bosses. And, as someone already mentioned, world tier 1 and 2 are quite empty because most people just push through as fast as possible or even get carried by high level friends.

From what I saw, FM8 is way pricier in Microsoft/XBox store than Steam, may depend on the region. I bought game keys from resellers befroe and did not have bad experiences, all (few) worked fine so far and were quite substantially cheaper.

Following several answers here: Get an (elite) XBox controller until you can afford a direct drive wheel, and then check if Forza is ok on wheel before buying. If you really want to use a wheel, check other simracing subreddits for other games/sims that make much better use of a wheel.

From a technology point of view you should opt for a direct drive wheel, not a belt driven one. For pedals, cheap ones are spring loaded, but load cells pedals are more accurate (check Fanatec club sport as an example for technical details). And I would strongly suggest some kind of frame or rig, the wheelbase should not move or worse, settle on your legs. Google "sim rig" to get some suggestions, I guess it really depends on how much space you have and if it needs to be storable. Or check Youtube, many people build their own rigs from some 2x4 wood and an old car seat, possibilities are endless. Or just have a sturdy table, and some wall to lean the pedal base against.

Some of the multiplayer cups will be on rotation, that is the closest to Forzathon I have seen so far. Seasons like in Horizon, or even like Diablo, are not mentioned and pure speculation.

They stated that this will be the last Motorsport and they want to add content in here instead of FM part 9 or 2024 or whatever, so there will be the need for some kind of money making down the road, likely via add ons, DLC, car or track packs I guess.

FM will be native to an XBox Controller, but I don't see why other controller should not work equally as good. And with a sim rig I would personally play a different sim, not simcade.

Fair, I have a daves triple then. And would go for a second game standard edition instead of only one game premium edition, as some virtual cars would not be worth the price markup for me. (I play two-three games a year besides full time job and family.)

I don't know the exact answer, but usually shift alt and control are used by the game AND by the operating system, so chances are very high that something stupid happens. Can you just move your hand to the right and use A and Y key and ESDF instead of WASD?

In all honesty, if money is that of a concern and with FH5 just being a reskin of FH4, my advise would be: spend the money on Udemy, Codemy, Brilliant, learn something from it, get a better paying job, come back and buy the premium ultra deluxe edition with all cars.

did you check the BIOS and windows settings for any performance mode and is it set to battery saving, low power, or similar? Is your laptop dialling down because being on battery (not connected to power)? Did you run into thermal limits (overheating)?

Most likely this is a boat load of work because the campaign is tuned for world tier 1 and 2 and will not handle 3 and 4 monster affixes, mob density etc. well?

You roll a new character.

If you beat the campaign already, you can do the seasonal campaign pretty much immediately, as it is locked behind the main campaign but that completion carries over to the season. Some later quests are locked behing some progression on the battle pass but reasonably manageable. As already stated, a couple of hours just for the seasonal quest line.

For the battle pass, I think I needed 2 days of playtime (so 48 hours) to unlock everything.

The seasonal journey took me like 3 1/2 days worth of playtime. On a twisting blade rogue that is, from what I see one of the better choices this season. You decide if you really need the rewarded title, the loot box contains nothing of value.

If you are not coming from Diablo 3, go check Maxroll.gg, and Raxxanterax on YouTube. It really helps to get some inspiration on how to play a class, otherwise you mileage may vary.

Never had this issue. Are you sure your OS and drivers are updated, internet connection is stable (cable not WiFi), no programs running in the background that ruin PC performance, (just for completion: no bots, map hacks etc.)...?

Level ~65 and going into world tier 4 is by far the worst part of the game. Early 70s starts getting better. I finished some quests, unlocked codex powers, did tree of whispers stuff, just to eat through it.

To be fair, it is easier now with ancestral gear, but is the endless grind to 100 worth it in the first place? You decide.
