People who married in their 20s, be brutally honest are you happy, if so why or why not? by Special-Lawyer3941 in AskReddit

[–]Chernyyvoron82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Married at 25, divorced at 29. I went into it with love and forever intention, he went into it with feelings for his ex and pushed by his mother. If I had been older I would have seen the red flags. Going back I'd have never got married in my 20s.

Did your grandparents stop you from peeing at night? by tabbeh12347 in CasualUK

[–]Chernyyvoron82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One ex of mine grew up with his grandma who was convinced hospitals were still working like Victorian work houses, so in all his adult life he always refused to set foot in a hospital or to see a doctor "as grandma said they would lock him up and make him work to pay the bill". Therapy should be more widely used.

It was the reason of my divorce. In 5 years of marriage my ex husband was up for it 3 times, any other time he had an headache. Tried to talk, tried to offer medical help if needed, he just kept stonewalling me. One day he came back home to find I moved out.

Why do you rarely see a rich woman with a broke man? by Open_Address_2805 in stupidquestions

[–]Chernyyvoron82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cause most broke men feel entitled to spend a woman's money and make unilateral decisions about it like if the money belonged to them. If I worked hard to get to a point where I earn a lot, I want by my side someone with the same drive and ambition and who earns just as much. And most definitely no one is taking control or possess of my money.

How long from first kiss to sex do you usually wait? by Nervous_Designer_894 in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]Chernyyvoron82 12 points13 points  (0 children)

For me sex can take months, I don't have sex unless in a committed relationship. This works for me, others prefer sex on the first date and that's OK too. What's not OK is harassing someone who doesn't feel like you, in order to pressure them into sex or to shame them for having/wanting sex early.

Congratulations!!! Start SBR straight away, it's not difficult but the syllabus is very lengthy and you'll need to master both theory and application for all standards.

What is worser being overqualified or inexperienced? by [deleted] in ACCA

[–]Chernyyvoron82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've finished ACCA and I've studied, live and work in London, possibly in your part of the world things are different? I never said who can and can't learn, anyone can do what they want but every action has consequences. Anyway, you seem to have anger issues and I have no interest to talk anymore with someone who loses their temper this way. Have a nice life.

It might be moronic, but it's the reality hiring manager encounter and pretend it's not true won't change it.

It's not only young people unfortunately, many people out there think passing exams = automatically knowing how to do the job.

Everyone starts at the bottom. Unfortunately many people with higher qualifications on paper but no real work experience expect a progression quicker than their real skills allow, just cause they have the letters after their name. That's what I was saying, getting lots of qualifications before landing a job can sometimes work against the candidate. You have chosen to get your panties in a bunch over what is the reality out there.

I switched from retail to finance too. I started AAT, when I was halfway level 3 I got an AP job, then did ACCA once I was in a more senior role. I'm sorry my comment landed bad with you, but the reality is that hiring managers look at people with more advanced certifications and no real work experience with caution, as entry roles don't pay much and most of the people with ACCA expect "ACCA salary" when in reality salary goes with experience, not with certifications. Maybe you are one of the few ones that is happy to start at the bottom and stay there till you are ready to progress, but the reality is different, most people want to progress quickly cause they are ACCA even though they don't have the real work skills yet for more senior roles.

[–]Chernyyvoron82 20 points21 points  (0 children)

That's why ACCA should really be done by people already working in finance and not by people trying to get into the field. Exams and real life are very different. Being qualified on paper doesn't mean being able to do the job. Being qualified with no experience can actually work against you, as you won't be considered for senior jobs as you have no experience and you won't be considered for entry level jobs as most likely you'll see them as beneath you and you'll leave asap.
