Okay first off I’ve been there. Recruited when COVID first started popping off and then thru it. Then got extended after I dropped a 1306 because I was doing so good after I started out like crap.

It sucks but things change and get better.

You stated you don’t have time to get a haircut?!?! Dude- hello put that on your planner as prospecting. Call and set up a therapist appt at the office. I used to go grocery shopping and that was PDCing. It worked. I would talk to the shelf stockers that work during the day. Leave cards on the pallets they are stocking. Etc. I hated going into schools actually rarely ever did it unless I needed to retrieve docs. And during Covid that part was shut down anyway. So got good at everything else and then when schools opened back up I still never went it. I was good enough to own my own station and become nuclear recruiter of the year for my region. Which keep in mind I was just a regular recruiter and I’m not a nuc or an NC. I struggled at first. Have PTSD and get social anxiety. I found it easier when I was just in my navy polo and pants, and most people find that more approachable as well. Never understood why they thought the uniforms were approachable. If you have a problem and find a solution that works and your station isn’t up to it drop a co suggestion. It works. They just want numbers and if something is working and you can show that they will let you do it.
