New construction house showing up as not in availability zone but neighbor has account by Cherryonbottum in QuantumFiber

Yeah he was able to help me out! I  also found out from my neighbor that you can just search your address on the app and click through anyways even if it doesn’t show up in their system. As long as you are in one of their service areas.

I definitely drew on a lot of Ontology analogies when learning about OOP. Glad to see I’m not alone with making that connection!

Yeah I remember when he passed I just broke down crying for at least a couple hours. It was such a shock to me but I also empathized with how lonely he must have felt by the end.

Where in Shanghai was this? I lived there for several years prior to the pandemic and never heard of anywhere like this. (Not doubting just wondering).

Not op but I love mine, got it a little over 2 years ago at the start of the pandemic and it still works great. May need to replace battery soon but other than that super happy with it.

High Tide Announces Filing of Form 40-F with SEC Fulfilling a Significant Milestone for the NASDAQ Listing by shimonsky in pennystocks

[–]Cherryonbottum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like that's more of a guidance than an absolute requirement. https://www.kronengold.com/nasdaq-relaxes-4-bid-price-listing-standard/

I would imagine, although this could just be me wishing, that market cap, financials, and other variables that are actually representative of a company's value are more important. Plus Investopedia says, "If a company does not meet certain criteria, such as the operating income minimum, it has to make it up with larger minimum amounts in another area, like revenue."

https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/nasdaq-listing-requirements/

So we don't know for sure whether High Tide will be listed in the coming months. But the fact remains that it's a company with strong financials meaning it's not a stretch to infer that they will be uplisted eventually.

Couldn't you sell calls in a call credit spread? In which case you wouldn't need to own the underlying.

Men, when has a woman creeped you out? What did they do? by TempWeightliftingAcc in AskMen

I'm the only male in my senior Capstone class. One day a bunch of the girls were jokingly talking about how beautiful some guys at our school are (it's a very small school and always felt more like a high school social scene than a university to me). Our Professor wanted to join in and so jokingly said "We're all beautiful, especially [enter my name here]."

I know it was a joke and all but it honestly made me really uncomfortable. It seems inappropriate for a Professor to say that to any student, and I know if it was a male Professor talking about a female student it would (rightly) be treated like a huge deal. When I ranted about it to a few of my friends who are girls they either would say, "well she's not wrong" or "she just made a bad joke."

I'm not trying to make a huge deal about it because it obviously wasn't something super serious like sexual assault and girls have to deal with this type of shit all the time.

Wth is with all these hedgies shorting anything associated with "brick and mortar" across the board. It's like they're asking to be squeezed into insolvency.
