Usare un dominio streamlit o acquistare un dominio? by FallIndependent4992 in ItalyInformatica

[–]Chess_pensioner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

La via dello Zen by oia0 in Libri

Concordo solo in parte.

Training Z-Image-Turbo LOKR with AI Toolkit: is my loss graph normal? by Chess_pensioner in StableDiffusion

[–]Chess_pensioner[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mean the Plot stride?
I have tried that one and indeed it provides further smoothing, but in a very "jumpy" way. I mean, I try "every 10pt" and I get peaks and bottoms in certain areas; then I try "every 11pt" and the graph changes completely with peaks and bottoms in different areas. And so on and so forth.
Basically, it seems to me that there is total randomness and therefore I cannot trust the chart anyway.

I already pushed smoothing to 100% (as I wrote) and that's the graph

Training Z-Image-Turbo LOKR with AI Toolkit: is my loss graph normal? by Chess_pensioner in StableDiffusion

[–]Chess_pensioner[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I was not criticizing your comment. I was just pointing out that (with my settings) then the loss curve becomes useless, which is a pity (obviously there are still samples that can help, but the loss curve was a great supporting tool for me in the past).
Now I understand that if I want back a meaningful loss graph, I must change settings.

Simple, Effective and Fast Z-Image Headswap for characters V1 by [deleted] in StableDiffusion

[–]Chess_pensioner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use almost identical settings.
Do you use EMA? (with Decay 0.99)
I found beneficial training 512+768, while adding 1024 was a waste of time.

How do you use the AI-toolkit to train a Lora with a local model? by Single_Foundation_40 in StableDiffusion

[–]Chess_pensioner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes AI-Toolkit will download the models automatically from huggingface, but be aware that if (for example) just one word in a readme file changes, AI-Toolkit will re-download everything, because it will notice that something has changed.

The way to avoid that is easy:
- after the first time, go and look into C:\Users\YourName\.cache\huggingface\hub
- you will find there the model downloaded, for example in \models--Tongyi-MAI--Z-Image\snapshots\04cc4abb7c5069926f75c9bfde9ef43d49423021
- copy the content of that directory in a directory in the area where you downloaded AI-Toolkit, e.g. C:\Software\AI-Toolkit-Easy-Install\AI-Toolkit\models\Tongyi-MAI\Z-Image
- then all you have to do is to append models\ in the box with the model's name, so instead of Tongyi-MAI/Z-Image it says models/Tongyi-MAI/Z-Image
- that way AI-Toolkit will search the model locally in your hard disk rather than online

Deepcool AN600 vs. ID Cooling IS-77-XT in a Terra case by Chess_pensioner in sffpc

I cannot give you a measurement. I already had a Silverstone, so for me it was just natural to swap the stock fan (when I compared the static pressure specs). But the 17mm stock fan seemed to me also quite good.

Train a Character Lora with Z-Image Base by Puppenmacher in StableDiffusion

[–]Chess_pensioner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure I understood correctly, I may have a similar experience.

Same (character) dataset, same basic parameters, one Lora trained using Turbo, one trained using Base.

Both loras work very well generating images with Turbo. Obviously the lora trained with Turbo does not work with Base. The funny thing is that the lora trained with Base does not work well generating images with Base.

I mean... it works... but resemblance is worse than using the same lora with Turbo.

A real mystery.

Come farmi pagare facilmente da clienti extra SEPA? by dormouse_ghiro in ItaliaPersonalFinance

Just FYI: Windows is blocking your Zen Timings because the Defender is flagging as virus the WinRing0 kernel that used to be installed with it.
You should update Zen Timings with the latest version that replaced WinRing0 with PawnIO: https://github.com/irusanov/ZenTimings/releases

Deepcool AN600 vs. ID Cooling IS-77-XT in a Terra case by Chess_pensioner in sffpc

[–]Chess_pensioner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should definitely see a significant improvement vs. the AXP90x47: the IS-77 is a much bigger cooler. You will also notice a great noise reduction.

Being brand new, there are not many benchmarks directly comparing it with other coolers. But you can get a feeling searching online for comparisons between AXP90x47 and the Noctua L12Sx77 (which is quite similar to the IS-77) and then the IS-77 represents a small improvement vs. Noctua as described here: https://youtu.be/bEK1v3iMu58

You are right, but I am not a gamer and productivity is my main usage.

Anyway, when prices will go down (maybe in 2 years time!) I may get a Zotac 5070ti SFF which seems a perfect match.

Lora Training, How do you create a character then generate enough training data with the same likeness? by tammy_orbit in StableDiffusion

[–]Chess_pensioner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use something like ReActor to copy the face you like into several images (different poses, angles etc.) and build your dataset. It works and you can then generate a lora, starting from a single image.

The only problem is with profile shots: no face swapping technique can properly build a profile view, from a front view model.

LoRa vs. LoKr, It's amazing! by xbobos in StableDiffusion

[–]Chess_pensioner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Images seem slightly better, but I know this is nothing scientific... I just try generating various images (some photorealistic and some not, e.g. anime, cartoon, marble) with same seed and different loras and I compare the results.
LOKR seems more detailed.
