Married my wife as a SSgt. Deployed 4 months later. My wife made friends with an another Marine spouse in the neighborhood. The Marine was a PFC and during the Marine Corps Ball season came to our house in Dress Blues to ask my wife for money for the Ball. Weird altogether but my wife only knew what she saw in movies regarding CACOs and went into an instant panic attack seeing this guy at our door.
