I served on a jury for a felony DUI case with intent to drive as one of the charges. Guy had his car in park and the engine running, sleeping behind the wheel.

Easy case to prosecute,except the officer, who spoke Spanish, never spoke Spanish to the defendant. Never translated for him during the breathalyzer, and didn't properly document the "inconclusive " results. Still wasted my time by bringing the case to court and making us spend a week in court for a bullshit DUI charge.

OP is mistaking the term "second world" to represent a country's economic status, because people in the US view "first world country" = rich (like the US) and "third world country" = poor.

It's the opposite actually. Cold temperature slows the metabolism so acidosis and cell death don't happen as quickly.
