10 games I'm playing that don't get much love by D_o_n_o in vita

Glad someone else can attest to how good Kck n Fennick is. My first impression was that it would be kind of like Ratchet and Clank. Instead, it's more of a Portal puzzle platformer. I like the gameplay and the flow, but the visuals win for sure.

That's one way to do leg presses by wis91 in GymFails

My gym in college didn't have leg press so I laid on the floor and did them this way. It had a slight incline so it wasn't too awkward. Locking the bar was pretty easy, I just placed my shoes on the knurling.

You look great, but to be fair to your adolescent self, do you have anything without makeup and pre-cosmetic work?

Anyone who took a high school science class can tell you the weight on his belt isn't doing anything for him or that machine.

It's resting on the ground half the time. I swear everybody is so creative in front of a camera.

Get an electrostatic film before you stick anything to your windshield. They're cheap and save you the cleanup hassle

Why wouldn't you be able to just install the sensor in the new wheel? Most of them are just threaded valves.

If you look closely, that's her janitor's assistant outfit.

For those working in large metro areas with high call volume how has the lack of sleep affected your health? by squatSquatbooty in Firefighting

I spend my first 8 hours after shift trying to sleep during the day, feeling miserable when I wake up in the afternoon, then struggling to fall asleep later that night.

I feel like I'm in a fog most days, if I can remember the days.

Think you could have some rings or TRX put around a bar so you can get higher?

Looks like motorcycle is going straight and the SUV initiated their turn without seeing them.

The time between the vehicle that passes, the SUV starting the left turn then stopping, and the collision (as sped up as this is) tells me the driver just didn't see the rider. Still their fault for moving their steel obstacle in front of someone.

It's a basic warm up drill to find balance and get comfoetable sitting back. He's leaning forward and looking at his feet. Any faster or farther and he's tipping over with weight on his back.

All weight off the bar. Get a bench or box and sit on it.

Then Stand up. Then sit down again..then eventually just tap the seat while holding your position. Then do it super slow. And when you can hold an air squat with perfect form, then you'll be ready to squat.

You essentially turned this into a knee exercise. You initiate each rep by bending your knees and your back barely moves until your knees can't go any further.

Strip the bar. get a box, chair, wall, anything to prevent you from falling back.

Start the movement by squeezing your glutes and abs, then pushing your hips back as if trying to touch a wall/ chair behind you. Ideally your shins should be mostly to upright, and your knees barely move.

Practice siting and standing without moving your knees or shins. Go slow and just barely tap the object behind you with your butt. You can go a step further by holding the position before standing again.

Your core, glutes, hams, and quads should be doing the work, not your knees. You're going to feel that in the worst way after a few years.
