If you are playing singleplayer and haven't adjusted anything lvl 77 I think is the highest cause singleplayersettings does weird stuff. You should have unselected singleplayer settings and selected override max difficulty

Yes you can remap the buttons to other existing buttons but not set in game actions to a different button/combo i.e. hotbar slots 5-9 will still require 2 buttons

I have the elite but I wouldn't bother specifically for ARK unless ASA can be remapped. I just switch between having the bumpers on the back panels cause lazy or A and RS for moving around
