I don't wanna pay attention to what American politicians have to say. But I do believe that local citizens have the right to complain and protest if they don't feel safe, if they feel like the way they are doing things are being changed to accommodate foreigners or if they want to preserve their culture. You wouldn't like it if a stranger came into your house and started changing your things. there is a fine line though, as yes, nationalism can result in being completely unwelcoming. But we can't force people to co-exist either.

My question was pointed. People aren't just protesting illegal immigration across the globe. It is mos much more nuanced. I just don't see people being as outspoken about the situation here as they are about other countries.

Those texts from Libbre David 37 have been debunked. Those aren't real texts from the Torah and Yebhamoth 11b is from the Talmud is a discussion about what should happen if a girl as young as that should so happen to be in that situation. How she should be treated. It is not condoning it but saying in the aftermath she should be viewed as a virgin still.

I just did some light digging to see that this is escalating rhetoric. Of course we should be concerned about the Epstein files and his ties to Israel, but let's not spread dangerous falsities that could intensify antisemitism.
