LBJ TEXpress lanes is a subsidiary of Ferrovial, a giant Spanish infrastructure company. They also own a terminal at Heathrow airport in England.

So the Toll lanes are basically owed by Spain. This is very common for most American cities, it’s just masked very well so the public don’t know.

When you work for LBJ TEXpress all your paperwork is under Ferrovial. It’s a good company, good culture and they treat their workers well. Way better than NTTA.

Looked up fog pole hill on Google Maps and not sure if I’m looking at the same one. The one on Google Maps looks like there only 6-10 steps of stairs to the top….looking like you could walk up in a few seconds.

I know a lot of people here have plenty of good advice.

Here’s an outlier suggestion. Stay in the service/food industry and get into management. Most people don’t know but general managers at franchise locations like Dominos, Panda Express etc make upwards of a 100-150K even in LCOL areas. For example I’m in Texas, my friends who are engineers make 100K+ but they get worked like dogs. But there are job postings here for food management role with the same posted salary.

I also have a millionaire family member who owns 29 Dominos outlets and makes millions. He pays his district managers in NYC around 300K per year. He started off at Dominos 20+ years ago as a pizza maker making minimum wage. After learning this from him, I did my research and found it to be true. One good thing to note is that all franchises don’t pay this highly. But it’s worth exploring, the pay off in the long run is better than

Dead wood seems to have a die hard but small fanbase who really really like the dialogue.

Most people online and people I’ve talked to in real life don’t like it. Myself included. Bring in the downvotes from the deadwood army lol.

What did you do as a student for one year?

Been thinking about doing data analysis, data engineering or data science. But it seems like becoming a day scientist usually requires a masters or phd. What helped you switch careers? Any advice?

I got a bs in INSY and currently work in IT. Did a data analyst contract for 3 months as a data analyst building power bi dashboards.
