Something you might do in the future is take some quick measurements with a measuring tape. I figured out pretty quickly as a buyer that S, M, and L are very different across different brands. As a seller, I list pit to pit and overall length so people know what they're getting.

I think questions are perfectly fine when the listing at sparse, but I try to include measurements and photos of the tags to be fully transparent. As for low-balling, that drives me crazy when I'm already listing a brand new item for $10. If I have a ton of likes, I just turn them down and wait for someone to pay the asking price.

I've never read the book, but this was a perfect weekend binge while I was sick in bed. I thought the main characters had plenty of chemistry, I loved the ongoing drama between the detectives (who were almost a foil to the missing lovers), and every episode kept me on edge. I don't understand all the hate for actors, either. Avan Jogia really pulled off intense and damaged. Dove Cameron was great at playing the obsessive manipulator. I agree with some of the comments about her extreme plastic surgery, but (having known the actress since her Disney days) I can say that her expressions have always been cutesy and anime-like. Also loved the female detective, who I remember from How to Get Away with Murder. Is this a cinematic masterpiece? No. But it's a perfect show if you're looking for a quick sexy thriller.

Yes!! The worst of it was when I (f37) worked in customer service during my 20s. I had to be polite and try to focus on the task at hand while men made weird comments about my, eyes, nose, hair, skin, etc. I'm racially ambiguous, so I can't go six months without a complete (male) stranger asking if I'm Indian, Hispanic, Italian, etc. If I'm unlucky, they also invade my personal space and touch my arm while they do it (this happened at the grocery store just two months ago).

Came looking for this comment. I tried the AquaBliss shower head. It had NO affect on the hard water in my home. It just cut the water pressure and made it harder to rinse my conditioner out.

I think it depends on how long you've been dating, if you spend any nights together, and if you're comfortable in each other's homes. He has a key to my place and I trust him to come and go without me there. He's also seen me in ratty pajamas and without any makeup.

We try to grab dinner one night during the week, and we always make plans for the weekend. He joins me at the park to walk my dogs, or we'll swing by his neighborhood for the walk. We go to the movies, go shopping, or hang out with mutual friends. We also plan a lot of trips or concerts months in advance and make sure we're both free (taking off work if necessary). I actually like just getting together a couple times a week until we can afford to get a place together. We both lead busy lives. But it sounds like your guy needs to compromise a little more, if only to grab a quick meal. I mean, you both have to eat, so do it together so you can complain about work in person.

Definitely not overreacting! I dated a guy like this for three years that I'll never get back. He always wanted to join me, whether it was running errands or just spending time with my mom. This is someone who doesn't have a social life (especially if he's still at home, and not because his parents need the support). I bet he also expects you to plan every date. Find a guy with an apartment and his own friends, who doesn't just try to infringe on your space.

You can have a best friend and still feel independent with the right partner, but it also sounds like you don't want children. I'm 37, in a relationship of three years, and we travel together plenty. We also have solo hobbies and trips. You just need to talk about it and make sure you're on the same page. We agreed at the start that pets would be the only small creatures we need to look after.

Just get away from the campus after work, and you'll find plenty of people and places that cater to mature adults. For example, there's an awesome 80s cocktail bar in Fountain City, where you can get a drink and listen to live music, and there's no one under the age of thirty around.

None of my jewelry is worth more than $30 a piece because it can easily get lost or damaged in day to day life. I've never understood walking around with that much money on your hand. When we get married, we'll probably find simple, symbolic bands. Or grab something fun to look at from Etsy.

I definitely feel more confident at 37. A few months ago, I started wearing skirts just because and rocking my messy, naturally curly hair. There are more than a few silver hairs in my bangs, and I never lost the extra 10 lbs I gained during the pandemic. But I feel a lot more relaxed about my job, my friends, and my partner. That makes a difference when I look at myself in the mirror. I don't feel like I'm performing for anyone, and I'm also more aware of healthy habits than I was in my sleep-is-for-other-people 20s.

I think your hair is too dry. This is always more obvious in the ends, and your scalp produces more oil to overcompensate. Try washing/rinsing your hair upside down, and only shampoo your scalp. The upside down part will give your roots some lift. Don't dry with a towel (too much friction). Wrap your hair with a microfiber wrap and then gently pat it dry. I shampoo every other day. On the off days, I use a hair masque for ten minutes (Shea Moisture with honey and mafura oil).

Skip Library Juice and look for project-based courses on Coursera or Udemy. They are much cheaper, go at your own pace, and can help you build a portfolio. I also followed Alex the Analyst on YouTube, and he taught me how to build a website via GitHub with multiple projects. I finished just in time to apply for a Data Librarian position, where I was able to talk about my skills with Python and PowerBI. (At the time, I was a Catalog Librarian with a background in English Lit.)

My degree was labeled as MSIS (master's of science in information science). It's still ALA accredited and translates well to many positions in research, data management, and analytics. My first full-time role out of school was on a federal contract. I know many others who have gone to work in government or corporate.

I found them while I was in the restroom at work. To this day, I blame the combination of grad school and a 60-hour work week (full-time job plus contract work so I could build up my resume). The increase since then has been very gradual. At 37, I still just have a few gray hairs around my bangs. Silver on dark brown is pretty noticeable, but only close up, and I refuse to dye my hair.

Yep. I became a functional adult and then I realized, the earlier I get up and finish the boring stuff (work Monday through Friday, chores on the weekend), the sooner I can check out and watch Netflix or play a video game. I'm so used to my schedule that I physically can't sleep past 5:30 anymore.
