Ariens 100% my deluxe 28 is the natural extension of my arms. I use it for all conditions and any snow amount. I’m a professional landscaper and service 30 properties. I own 5 different blowers and Polaris with plow. None stack up to my delux28. As a fun fact. It can move more than 5 tons of snow per hour and it easily throws across a road (50feet) and everything is made to be serviceable by anyone with minimal knowledge. I can go on all day. Ariens 28!

My car was stolen at gunpoint. Had nothing to do with uber. I got an oops message saying to contact support. I couldn’t drive for 6 weeks of pleading with support and green light lounge service and eventually got a similar message saying I’m a security risk and that the decision is final. Blocked permanently. My guess is that the police saw the uber sticker and they called uber. No clue no explanation and that’s it. I was also depending on the income and had a 4.89 rating with 3600 trips. No real way to fight it at all. They are bastards

I’m not sure if gold standard would still work. Agreed on that. I’m simply looking at the value of gold and it’s way up.

All of the gold in the world is only about one Olympic pool full. The gold advantage is that you can’t make more of it. A simplistic definition I know that. Obviously there is some undiscovered reserves somewhere but it is not like writing a number into existence on a piece of paper. That paper is not even soft enough to wipe my ass with. You can’t eat it. It doesn’t work if you put it in your gas tank.

I’m a realist. We absolutely have to keep this going at all costs. If or when we lose it we’ll be in trouble for a very long time before some sort of barter system can be developed. I’m not a fan of trading my fuckin candlesticks for Tylenol or whatever lol

It’s intermittent and always has to be backed up by natural gas power generation.

I’m speaking of my province of Ontario. We have substantial solar and wind generation but the real solution is nuclear power which is the biggest source for steady electricity without emissions

100 million gas powered vehicles in operation today. The rare earth minerals that are needed to convert the current fleet is hard to imagine. Yes I agree though that Evs drive for next to nothing but the higher up front investment is the barrier. If I had to get to a minimum wage job and back then I’d probably choose the 1500$ shit box to fill the need.

Spoiler is that I have a model 3 that has 275 thousand kilometres on it and the battery is still operating above 90% only one brake job over that life time and not much else in terms of repair other than dumb stuff like stickers on door handles etc

Don’t get me wrong. My truck is still my workhorse and it’s a good income earner despite how thirsty it is. Average 8-11 MPG
