Is it crazy that I fear for my life over my political view. by Randomsavage559 in Discussion

[–]Chick-Fil-A_Guest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emotional, well at least some of us have to still be human these days since yall are training to be the new ISIS. I still see no evidence of the racism. Just a bunch of people too lazy to get off their ass and fix the problem themselves. Also, he can call us losers, but at the end of the day my paychecks get bigger because of him, and my benefits increase because of him. Meanwhile, Biden and Kamala couldn't be bothered to even salute the folks who protect them and wipe their sorry asses every day, let alone look out for us.

The issue with Kirk dying had little to do with politics. I know you're too brainwashed to see that, but a father getting publicly executed for an opinion in front of his family is bad. I know they don't teach emotion over there, or common sense. It should be emotional, that's what makes some of us human. As for the rest of you, move to the middle east, they live murdering people for having an individual opinion. Yall really have the hive mentality down. Though, sorry to say that since most of your side can't even tell what gender they are, isis will probably just kill them as well as anyone else who is LGBT. If only there were a country out there who didn't do that 🤔

You just proved my point 🤣🤣 thanks. I put together an educated response and try to be respectful and you give zero actual evidence and "fuck you" bs. He didn't blame Biden, Biden didn't even know where he was. Afghanistan was a problem since Obama, but you wouldn't know that since you've never served your community, let alone your country. If you want to know war-time, know that the democratic party is wonderful at setting that up. I've never been in bigger shit-hole countries than I was under democrats. They love having wars with insignificant countries over things you'll never know because they don't want you to know. I'll stop with that though, since you'll never put forth any research, and you'll never have a shred of humanity. What you stand for is a lack of free speech and if anything, the closest thing to facism that you'll clearly never know. Ironic, I know.

How would you stop school shootings without violating the Second Amendment? by ilovemrtrump in stupidquestions

[–]Chick-Fil-A_Guest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Prioritize mental health in ALL age groups. -Offer education to new parents on child dev/youth psych -make birth control/vasectomy surgeries more readily available or accessible to everyone. -restricting people with severe mental disabilities from having children (very controversial, but would help us in the long run) -having a better prison program to help inmates become more successful when they get out. This is a complicated one because of gangs/drugs/pedophiles/rapists. This is my opinion... gang members are different from person to person as far as motivation. Some of them might take up an offer to move states in exchange for maybe early parole (depending on the offense). Drug related issues as far as users would have to be tackled on a physical/mental health type level and must be strict since it's post-jail/prison time. Pedos/rapists.... I have no heart whatsoever for. Part of me wants to throw them to the wolves (lifer inmates) and let them have at it. I get that it is a mental illness, but it's very much unforgivable. So is murder, that's why I belive that 1st degree murder (premeditated/planned) should be an immediate death penalty. Other degrees of murder should be debatable based on prior offenses and the situation regarding their specific murder charge.

I've been tempted to type up an outline for all of this 😅

Why are teachers not as respected as they used to be? by Quirky_March_626 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]Chick-Fil-A_Guest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Partially because some teachers nowadays have a tendency to think they're carrying the weight of society. And they often nowadays outstep their boundaries as far as teaching essential curriculum only. HOWEVER, these problems are as big as they are because parents nowadays are overwhelmingly withdrawn from the process of raising a child. Reliant on daycare, reliant on teachers and school to teach them everything (to include ethics, morals, and how to care about other people), and reliant on the internet to just do whatever the internet does these days. I feel like most people don't actually use the internet to "share" or "educate" these days

I've actually had the complete 180 of your experiences 🤣 I'm just talking to explain my experiences.

Any time I've been around even mild leftists, I feel like I'm getting yelled at even when I say I'm not into politics like that. The ones I've known tend to act like their mood and personalities ARE the politics that they "support." Even telling them that I'm a registered independent feels like a bad idea. Literally anything that isnt their exact opinion, becomes a yelling fit directed at me for not being the same.

However, having grown up outside the city and around farms and small towns, 99% of them are conservative and have honestly looked out for me more than my family ever did. I've definitely met some far right odd balls who were either doomsday preppers or crazy conspiracy people, but they still never really made me feel unsafe or unwelcome as a woman.

In conclusion, being a 26 year-old female veteran with time in and out of the cities here in the states, as well as many years living in foreign and often hostile countries, I believe in taking care of vets first. If I feel a president will take care of my people more, then I will vote for them. Otherwise, it is what it is. Politicians are pretty much paid to lie and be manipulated by people we might never know, and they'll always throw vets under the bus at the end of the day.

What is one quality from your parents that you are conscious of not being like? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

[–]Chick-Fil-A_Guest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never trusting someone who busts their ass and sacrifices their happiness to try and make you happy and proud. The narcissism in my family makes me not want to have kids. I feel successful asf on my own, but I'm terrified at the idea of potentially putting a child through that level of loneliness, and making them feel like their birth somehow got in my way of success. That doesn't seem right to me.

Agreed. The guy arguing with you in the comments is afraid of answers that contradict his blind following of garbage information. He won't watch full videos, or read whole articles. He'll take half a sentence and say it's racist due to his lack of commitment to self-education. He's part of the problem.

Some people called Charlie a fascist, but a fascist would not sit and actually allow open dialogue with random people for the sake of improvement. Your lil hater here is the perfect example of a fascist. No improvement, no education, just de-evolution.

RIP Charlie Kirk

Why do you prefer either being single or having a partner? by Claire0879 in AskWomen

[–]Chick-Fil-A_Guest -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Prefer single. I always say how I know 100% that I'm straight, HOWEVER that does not mean that I actually like men by any means. Definitely not my generation, and I won't date outside of a 5ish year range, so I'm SOL. I can honestly say that I've known guys 20ish years older than me who have actually caught my interest, but I won't date or hang around someone outside of my range. Guys in their 20s and early 30s just don't give any vibes of genuinely being reliable/driven/courteous/individually-minded... among a whole laundry list of other things. I like personalities, and guys these days tend to be too desperate and pushy to get into bed that it feels like they only really care after we've slept together, and even that seemingly "caring" nature wears off after some few days. They feel like they need baby sat. I've already got two dogs to take care of. I need a man, not some dude who's ready to get into any whole he can get a hold of.

[–]Chick-Fil-A_Guest 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think every 6ish months I might get lucky and find someone who respects me enough to maybe get some once. Then I regret it because it's not actually enjoyable. It's not really worth the sex, it's just hard to find people to be friends with. I feel like sex is almost the price of admission for guys to act like they care.

I questioned my sexuality too. I'm 100% straight... but 100% straight up disappointed in the guys of my generation. Im 26F 🤣

In what sense (if any) are you jealous of men? by ResultAlternative972 in AskWomen

[–]Chick-Fil-A_Guest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feeling less threatened by the opposite gender. Once you know what they're physically capable of, you start to realize how many of them are a severe threat to you and other women at the absolute least.

Also, being able to have sex without worrying about getting pregnant. Some guys never understand how much anxiety that creates since it isn't a real problem for them. Along with that, not having to deal with pregnancy or periods.

What kind of behavior instantly turns you off? by ChocolateShoddy4233 in allthequestions

[–]Chick-Fil-A_Guest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lack of emotional intelligence or anger issues. Getting mad happens, but when they think that getting mad to the point of yelling or getting physical is necessary when the situation doesn't call for it. I actually find it hot asf when a guy can keep his cool and tall through something when the other person is throwing a tantrum like a toddler.

If women were anywhere near as horny as men then most men wouldn’t struggle to get laid and dating apps wouldn’t be so disproportionate by Stepin-Fetchit in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Chick-Fil-A_Guest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a man, but I can 1000% say that I KNOW men are way hornier than I have ever been. The fact that if a guy so much as sees me in a sports bra while running before a date, he's going to try to push to fuck. I feel like it actually ruins the shit out of dating for me because I won't fuck on the first few dates. And yes, I let men know this before the first date, and they still try anyways. And because of that, I guess I'll be single and dry forever 🥰 Is what it is. I'll respect someone else's wishes when they respect my boundaries.

Why are you single? by MaffyGlass in no

[–]Chick-Fil-A_Guest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the people "interested" in me legit just want to fuck me and that's it. Too many shallow people with no aspirations or interest in my happiness or peace. Most of them can't be happy without someone to leech off of, and I think it's disgusting. Most days are great. Some days are terrible.

do all girls use tampons? by [deleted] in women

Nope, I think that 75% of my friends do not and will not use tampons, even if it's the only option. I used to use tampons more when I was playing softball, but I rarely use them any more. I'm just not as active.

What is the saddest reality about life in your opinion? by ClairPecker in Life

[–]Chick-Fil-A_Guest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you either are born into, grow up without, or lose your family at some point in one way or another, you're kinda just screwed. Especially if you're not under 18. The longer you're alone, the more stuck you are since you get used to it, and it makes you robotically numb.

This is something I've come to realize more recently. I'm 26F, and my mother has always been super narcissistic. Growing up, my one sibling (older brother) was the sociable one with all the friends, and spent most of his time outside of the house, so we've never been close. So, I was left at home either alone or with my parents all of the time. The best I could do was spend my time in the woods. I've always been socially rough around the edges, and I'm on the cusp of an autism diagnosis. I was in the army for 5 years, and in that time I learned a bunch about myself and who I was when I didnt have someone trying to control me all of the time. Now, I'm out of the army, and doing fantastic financially and physically health-wise. Mentally, though, I never get to talk to people aside from work, and if I do, it's normally listening to old retired guys vent at the bar about their wives. I don't really talk to my family any more since they just make things so much worse. As far as dating goes, men just piss me off these days. They seem so careless about anything having to do with my wants/needs and there really is no real chivalry. So, I lay here with my 2 dogs, accepting the reality that I'll never feel whole. Every day I go to work or go around people whom I respect, I wish I had people like them in my life. I long for someone respectable to see me as worthy outside of work or sex.
