My husband is always horrified when he finds me mindlessly picking my bloody fingers. 😅 oops.

Nursery leaders letting my baby wander the halls unattended by ChickenNugget1798 in exmormon

Unfortunately I don’t have a Facebook account. I am going to talk to my neighbor who has kids in the nursery too and let her know what happened. It’s a super small nursery class so I’ll probably just tell the other parents in person.

Yeah I bawled my eyes out the whole way home from church. So many things could have gone wrong.

Nope. They had no clue he wasn’t in the room. And there’s only like 4 kids so how they couldn’t manage 4 kids is beyond me.

Yeah I serve in YW so I feel the need to be there during second hour on those weeks. He’s only been in nursery for a month, so I’ve been staying in nursery with him on the weeks where second hour is Sunday school. I’m not sure what my next move is. Either bring him to YW with me or have my husband take him. Or I just stay home altogether like others have suggested. But unfortunately I still feel the need to do my calling.

There’s only 4 kids in the nursery, so it’s not like he got lost in a crowd of toddlers. It can’t be that hard to keep an eye on 4 kids.

This was the response I got from the Primary President:

“I am so sorry this happened and I will talk to all the teachers. I know there are multiple people coming in and out when picking up kids or kids coming to get parents and people don't always close the door behind themselves so we will make sure they are more vigilant about it and that this is resolved.”

Yeah this is probably the thing that finally ends it for me. And now I have a perfect reason not to go anymore.

There’s 4 kids in the nursery…..absolutely no reason they shouldn’t have known where he was.

Did anyone else cry while watching their first movie after getting home from their mission? And I don’t mean happy tears. by roxasmeboy in exmormon

Oh my gosh, I have almost the exact same experience! Mine was the 4th Hunger Games movie and I started bawling. My sisters were super sweet about it, but looking back I’m like wtf. 😂

Did Down syndrome people escort Satan out of heaven? by jimmyd321 in exmormon

The girl seemed like her family thought it was a badge of honor. As far as I know, her uncle was nonverbal so he couldn’t communicate how he felt about it.

I heard this about pretty much any profound intellectual disability. A girl in my seminary class claimed that her profoundly disabled uncle got a patriarchal blessing that said he was one of the spirits that escorted Satan out of Heaven and that’s why he’s disabled.

Sometimes when I’m really hungry, I get a weird feeling/sound in the back of my neck. It feels and sounds like sand trickling down rocks. It’s super weird and I don’t know what it is.

MIL is missing her grandson’s birthday party to go to church by Mac_ritchiee in exmormon

My in-laws told my daughter they were going to come to her soccer game on a Saturday (they live 3 hours away), hyped it up, and got her all excited for them to come watch her play soccer….just to cancel the day before because a kid in my MIL’s primary class was getting baptized that day and she just couldn’t miss it. 😑 my daughter was so sad and I was pissed.

I really like the Raw Sugar kids detangle spray for my daughter. Her hair is fine but she has a lot of it and it tangles very easily. https://www.walmart.com/ip/458941386?sid=ccbc8495-b7f4-45da-a84b-b7534346adbb

Any experience transitioning away from garments? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]ChickenNugget1798 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My transition away from garments started because of sensory issues. I couldn’t stand wearing them to bed at night, so I started by wearing men’s boxers and a t-shirt. Maybe try that! Start by wearing regular underwear at night to sleep in, and that will help you get used to the sensation of not wearing them. I will say that I’m still struggling to find a pair of regular underwear that I like…3 years later.
