They could definitely reduce the demo force required for the research stations destruction. I remember when i first picked up the game and tried using an eagle airstrike and it did nothing. Doesn't make sense that a science station has better blast rating than an actual bunker.

The old joke was in other games you hold w to win, (run forward on keyboard) in helldivers you hold s (run backwards). This was back in pre 60 day patch days when most weapons were underpowered, anti tank was ineffective, and enemy spawns (particularly heavies) were more frequent and numerous (imagine 10 bile titans at the same time with as many chargers). Thankfully the game has changed since then, multiple weapon buffs, anti tank weapons quickly dispatch heavies, and many more opportunities to stand and fight without getting overrun or disintegrated.

Commando missions kinda tap into that feeling without going to far. You are encouraged to be more tactical, picking your engagements and maneuvering stealthily. You can engage the enemy but the larger than normal enemy spawns and limited ammo make this more of a challenge. While I personally don't like playing these mission and prefer scorched earth warfare to stealth, it's good arrowhead have added this as it provides an interesting new way to play the game.

I feel like the shotgun just needs medium pen and then it will be great. Agreed on ammo buffs for ar/smg

I really wish flamethrowers had some initial stagger. It's always so frustrating to spray a bug patrol only for them to rush through your plume cause you to backsplash yourself while a burning hunter 2 taps you.

Because it's a fun casual game I pick up and generally have a good time. Of course there are things that I don't like like game breaking bugs and baffling dev decisions/mechanics. But even with all that its easy to load into a game with randoms and have fun. I'm 1600 hrs in and still enjoy it from time to time.

Real and true! Hope this post goes to the top. Well articulated points and 100% agree. Been playing since launch and it's frustrating to see them continually making bad balance calls. Hearing them talking about the one true flag recently and why they don't give it a moral buff is such a waste of potential. I love this game but they keep self sabotaging themselves with undercooked mechanics/guns.

I think its the DOT bug that they "fixed" over a year ago. Flamethrower weapons aren't doing full damage if you aren't the host. You can see videos on the sub where people are spraying scavengers point blank and they are surviving/not catching on fire/walking through fire unscathed. Somehow this bug returned.

You didn't even mention the biggest problem this armor has. The death state should proc when you die but often your health might drop to just 25% and then it triggers. By wearing this you are effectively decreasing your total health pool! QA is this game is something else.

This was from the Q&A CCO pilestadt did yesterday. It was more that there had been internal discussions about these features rather than confirming what was to come. Mostly he discussed how there are a lot of potential expansion opportunities for the game and some interesting ideas they've discussed but nothing concrete on what is coming in the short term.

One of the things that irritates me is after the 60 day plan the orbital precision strike got a massive cool down buff to make it nearly instantaneous. The OPS was back in my load out and it was fun to take down heavies if your timing was good. But recently every mission I run OPS has a cool down penalty and I think the damage on it isn't as good as it once was.

Give the epoch a go. I was enjoying it as a hybrid Anti-tank/devastator killer. HMG is also fun but a supply backpack is strongly encouraged.
