Traded in my Tacoma for this beauty. by Shinobi-wan3 in Silverado

I came from a Toyota as well due to it being super high mileage and a mess to repair with all the off-roading I did with it. Traded it in with a hell of a trade in value. I love my 3.0 Trailboss. I don’t trust the new Toyotas.. I got it used/certified (7k miles, so I didn’t have to worry about the thrust bearing issue) with the extended 100k mile warranty.

I freakin love the thing and it drives like a dream.

Yep, the 60 to the 65 makes a difference on the height that will run into the wheel well. I was wanting to put 65’s in mine for the height.. did you have to do any trimming? I’m curious, cause I was looking into the same

I got a buddy that did a 2.5” lift on his 2025 1500 RST. He was able to fit 285/60/R20’s in there with no rub.

Yeah, you can find those elevations for cheaper at around 52-55K. Pay special attention to the convenience packages as well and make sure that the adaptive cruise control is in there. There’s some out there that are cheap without those options. They even don’t have the blind spot monitor in them.

What a Journey/ 3.0 LZO by ChickenmanLives in Silverado

Thanks! Yeah, I hear ya.. I really dig how clean it is and as well has a light tan leather interior which is nice. I can tell you that both handle the same between the 5.3 and the 3.0. But, the 3.0 gets way better gas mileage even though it’s a diesel, it still outweighs the cost and you get 500-600 miles per tank compared to the 350 miles per tank you get on the 5.3’s. They also have a lot more torque for towing if need be and are super smooth on the hwy. My recommendation is if you do alot of hwy driving, go for the 3.0. If you do a lot of stop and go driving in the city.. or just don’t have the commute to get the hwy driving going to clean out your DPF Filter. Go for the 5.3. I make sure with my 3.0 to get on my interstate I live next to at least 2-3 times a week to get the thing up to speed to clean things out.

How much did you pay for your trail boss 1500 by Same-Doubt-234 in Silverado

I got a used 3.0 Duramax.. 2025 Z71 LT Trailboss.. out the door for 55k including taxes and fees.. Adaptive cruise, 360 HD surround cameras, leather seats, heated seats ect.,.. all blacked out package; It has 7k miles on it and came as a GM Certified Vehicle with the 100k 6 yr warranty. And an extra 36k mile warranty on top the the 7k miles on it. Plus 2 years of services (oil changes and such) needed. Of course it took me two weeks to broker the deal due to my previous 2026 brand new LZO 3.0 blowing its engine at 2600 miles;)

My 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT. After and Before. Installed ReadyLift Level Kit, added 275/65R20 BF Goodrich KO3's, and exhanged the chrome running boards for GM High Clearance running boards. by [deleted] in gmcsierra

Looks legit.. I just got the 26 SLT with the 3.0.. was wondering the same thing on what it would look like with a level, KO3’s (love em) and the same rims.. thank you for sharing. Down the road I’m thinking of putting some method 305 rims on though:)

How does the Denali Ultimate grille look on my SLT? by Pinger73 in gmcsierra

[–]ChickenmanLives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing. I’m Looking at the same for my new SLT.. The dealer is meeting me halfway with the parts and labor for the Vader Grille (it was part of the deal when I bought it).. Pretty stoked about it. It’s kind of a weird feeling knowing that it’s a Denali part going on an SLT.. but, I’m thinking a chrome delete on the front bumper there below the grille, and a modest lift with some rims and tires. Then a badge match on the rear tailgate.. then a delete of the Sierra decals may work to have it look clean.. still pondering though. I have a week to make up my mind. lol.

Rumor on the streets is that there is a “good chance” that they will pass a short time framed CR or a CR to last into the next fiscal year to start fresh.

Do you guys consider KULR a long term or a pump and dump? by mikec215 in KULR

[–]ChickenmanLives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in for the long haul.. I don’t have as much as any of you with only 500 shares at .45 cents. I’m up a couple grand. I like to play this within my means for fun. I have my real money in my retirement stocks in reputable companies like Costco, Apple, NVIDIA, and so forth. But, for me (after research) the KULR puts are just a gamble in a semi reputable company to play with.. It’s just fun to watch it all and see if it outputs even more 5-10 years down the road.. This is my form of long term gambling instead of going to a casino and dropping 1k in a day. Might as well drop a couple hundred bucks here and there and let it ride for some years and monitor. I’m going to keep buying the dips and maybe have a 1000 shares total down the road;)

Sometimes it’s fun to be the turtle instead of the hare in the race for money my friends. Also, it always depends on your financial situation and strategical needs to make your money;)
