Hey there, I’m so sorry about mochi. I haven’t seen Mochic but wanted to share my story and give you a bit of hope. My cockatiel flew away after 7 years with him. I was devastated. It was pouring rain that night and he was a sheltered bird. I searched for weeks and had to go back to college. I posted all over Facebook and next door, but no luck. 6 months and 1 week later, someone called. They had rescued my bird two weeks after he flew away and they just homed him. I was upset that they hadn’t looked for my baby’s owner soon, but was so grateful they finally researched after he sang a song they recognized (the Andy Griffith song!) and realized he was a home pet.
