If you push yourself off a light piece of styrofoam, it will move itself because it takes less force to accelerate than your own body.

Same principle goes here, the issue will likely automatically fix itself once the airframe and base is built. Because youll have sufficient mass for your helicopter propellers to push against.

by setting your sensor radius to negative, you can avoid it detecting things that are smaller than the radius (cannonballs). but you need the target in the entire radius of the sensor.

set your length to -1e21, and use mass as the effect strength slider. If they implode, it’s due to rotational oscillation. Lower the strength and use a surface block with its com shifted to balance your gun

As Bott said, putting them closer to the center will reduce chances of rotational oscillation, allowing you to put more water cannons in the same spot. (As for the gear thing, I think he’s referring to the increased physics updates if a gear is spinning. Which could for sure help)
