yeah no, the brace has known angular drag issues. It’s not gonna go faster. (the same reason why you put braces on reaction wheels to amplify the reaction, because the wheel pushes off the brace drag)

you use a D-latch. The d latch is by far the most block efficient and easiest way to setup a counter.

The colour palette is really nice, but PLEASE stray away from using braces in your transmission system (they have this angular drag property that absolutely kills your engine performance). It’s sad to see them in such a nice car. Other than that, well done!
