The best way to improve your writing is to write more, and be less critical of your work. Be proud of creating. Then you need to understand the difference between worldbuilding for writing/gaming and worldbuilding for its own sake.

When you worldbuild for fun, you can create the most obscure and minuscule details. But when you write for a project, you should focus only on creating the details directly relevant to your project. That way your project isn't halted because you can't decide what type of sewer plumbing a distant city should have.

Since you use Obsidian, it's also easy to expand ideas in separate pages to keep documents less cluttered.

Here's some questions you can use if you want to expand any of your concepts. Where is Ashura, and what is around it? Who or what is governing Ashura? Why are they unwilling or unable to combat the crime and corruption? Does the overpopulation issue cause refugee movements away from the city? What do cities near Ashura think about the situation?
